I have a black cat that's behaving exactly so, except for the almond. He's energetic and communicates and playfully hopping on walls and beds, goes on top of the long fridge, and he poses like your cat. So, seeing how yours is similar, gives me peace of mind ❤😊
well that's why you have to go for the runts of the litter they tend to be the ones that surprise you like that more often then you would think the ones that get ignored a bit to much tend to have more personality to get the attention they need so get a runt and make him or her work a little bit for your attention still feed them but make them work for your attention a little bit and you'll see that personality come out in no time it's hard work to not go crazy loving them in the beginning but if you can do it you'll be rewarded with more cute personality then you can imagine kitty will show you what he or she has to offer if you encourage them to show it off🤪🤪

I've seen a few RUclips videos with this duo and can't tell what I love more: how wacky this cat is or how much the owner gets it and responds. I LOVE hearing her, " Oh so scary!" 😹 Like @danadavis6097, I've also had and lived with a lot of cats (56F). I love how they all have their own personalities. And how all cats are weird, in varying degrees. 😸 But man when you run into one that is so EXTRA, wow it is so funny and endearing. And such a delight when you see such well-matched pets with people. I had a black cat named Louie who passed 3 years ago at 19 yrs old. She was my heart and soul! We had much the same bond as you do - So much personality and love in her, which she gave freely to me and ONLY me. It is a joy that I miss terribly every minute of the day. Black cats are special!! ♥️

When I was 12, I was helping my mom deliver medication for the local pharmacy. Some of the people were okay with the delivery person opening their door and putting it on their table/drawer/wherever. It was the case for this house, as nobody was there. I walked inside and was immediately greeted with an entire wall collection of old-fashioned dolls. A cat walked into the room and had 2 different faces(exactly half its face was black, the other half was white and orange). I had never seen a cat like that in person, and was amazed. I reached down to pet them and the cat immediately gave me a look like the cat in this video, then proceeded to STAND UP and walk backgrounds right out of the room while keeping it's eyes on me. The entire experience was surreal.
I have thought about this a lot. 1. They make precious sounds when we pet them. Really? 😯 2. Their little heads are perfectly sized to be lovingly cupped within our hand. 3. Using litter is instinctive, even among ferals and tiny kittens. God designed them to comfort us ❤️🐈🧡🐈💛🐈
Aaawww... I play the SAME chasing game with my female black cat... I even call it "getcha" also. She knows that it means playtime. When I finally "getcha" her then the game is verbally called "gotcha". This goes on for an hour every night before bed to get her zoomies out... She LOVES it... And I get to sleep a full night! 💗🐈⬛💗
I'm playing also hide and seek with mine. Hide somewhere in the house and it will start looking for me and then halt staring at me from as far as can be. Until I say you got me!
My cat used to run up the the wall to make the corner at high speeds, even when she was 12 years old. She was a great cat. A beautiful Bengal. I miss her quirky ways.

From u.k I’m 67 now, sooty our second cat was all black like yours. Got her around age seven from a rescue shelter, her owner was an older bloke who had to go into a home. She adapted quick to be an inside cat, after being outside. We had a long back yard which she used to follow me into but strangely never escaped. Never experienced a cat like her, when she was ill and we had to give her tablets She knew what was coming , and would visibly sigh like a human. Follow me around, sleep outside my bedroom when I was on the night shift. Stand in front of me or sit when I played the guitar. And a look that can drill into your soul! A real one off! The others I’ve come across were just cats! Something going on with black cats. No wonder they had a bad time during the medieval witch hunts! We had her for seven yrs then she had a stroke, was in the vets for three days and after a week she was as good as new. Apparently cats recover from one quite well. Then a few months later her kidneys failed. Cannot get another normal cat, she was irreplaceable! She passed 2012. My wife and I agree, another wouldn’t come close! Sooty used to go crazy when we had lamb chops! and I mean crazy! Loved watching your video, even though it gave me a lump In my throat. Take care.

I used to come home late from work, after some food and settling down. The cat gave me "That" look. I stared back. Then jumped up and started chasing her, we would run circles thru the bedroom and back into the livingroom. She ran like her LIFE dependent on it, running vertical on the sofa. Like a HUGE bank on a race track. After a few rounds, i usually ended on the bed, pretending to try to catch her under the bed. Eventually I got tired and just rested. As soon as I did, she knew the game was over and she'd come to snuggle. Cat's are smart if we let them be.
There is a nice younger couple at the end of my street who have a senior black cat named Audi. I do a good deal of walking, and he is just one of my neighborhood feline friends i always visit and talk to on my journeys. He is nearly 20 years old, and it is always good to see him.
I read somewhere that black cats are a sport of Siamese cats, who also are known to live longer that the average cat. Even my part Siamese Langston lived to 2 weeks shy of his 20th birthday.
I really hope so.. I adopted a black cat (my first time) a few months ago and every time I see a video of someone saying goodbye to their cat after a life of (10-12 years) I feel so sad and hurt.. Do I have to adopt another cat in four or five years from now so that I don't feel sad and lonely when I lose it, or will it be the same?
This is a learned behavior. She did it a few times and got a good reaction so she did it more. This is who she is now. And we all love it. Black cats for life!!!❤

My black kitty used to go jogging with me along country walks. I used to break into a run and the cat, Smudge, used to run too, shooting in and out of bushes, trees and fields, along the path. Unfortunately, the cat disappeared one night and never returned and I was heartbroken. Cried for days. So I only had that cat for 1 year. We used to hold some amazing conversations. I think he was teaching me 'Cat'. He would be dead by now. RIP Smudge. I loved you. 🐈⬛️ ❤

I have 4 black cats. Three are brothers. The smallest one, Sonic, does that constantly too. Like, look at me! That's the way he comes into a room. 😸 He likes to give kisses too.
Cats are soooo amazing actors! One of my cats, years ago, had a not so nice accident in the engine compartment of my car (I was completely unaware that she had hidden in there) which ended in a broken rear leg. It healed pretty good and soon she was able to walk normally again. But when I told her "Oooh, that must have hurt soooo much!!" she began to limp that it broke your heart, but only for a few steps, then she walked normal again!
So cute and happy. She has found a way to share her zoomies with you. (I had a JBT years ago who would "floof out" (a.k.a. "go all Halloween cat") on purpose, to terrify her larger "sibling" cat when he took play too far. He always fell for it and would run as if his life depended on it. Thank you for reminding me of her.)
I'm revisiting this video once again, 3mths later cause it's one of the best I've ever seen showing a black cat with a fantastic attitude. And a great pet parent as well. This felines' silliness is awesome and makes me smile/laugh every time I watch it. 👍🏼😀

We had her for seven yrs then she had a stroke, was in the vets
for three days and after a week she was as good as new.
Apparently cats recover from one quite well.
Then a few months later her kidneys failed.
Cannot get another normal cat, she was irreplaceable!
She passed 2012.
My wife and I agree, another wouldn’t come close!
Sooty used to go crazy when we had lamb chops!

I'm so sorry she died 😥 my ragdoll cat Emma, also known as Puddy lasted 18 years. She slept next to my leg under the covers, so I feel your loss.... I still miss her, 16 years later...i can feel her sweet softness in my minds eye. God bless you and your wife 🙋♀️♥️🇺🇸✝️

I love black cats
I used to come home late from work, after some food and settling down. The cat gave me "That" look. I stared back. Then jumped up and started chasing her, we would run circles thru the bedroom and back into the livingroom. She ran like her LIFE dependent on it, running vertical on the sofa. Like a HUGE bank on a race track. After a few rounds, i usually ended on the bed, pretending to try to catch her under the bed. Eventually I got tired and just rested. As soon as I did, she knew the game was over and she'd come to snuggle. Cat's are smart if we let them be.
Cat's love being complemented about how fast they are, it's quite adorable.
"I am a fierce and dangerous kittie, you better be on notice!" I love her crazy eyes.
Our black cat arrived one night at our doorstep, and adopted us for good. Slept the first night on my bedside table.
She is not trying to scare you, she is just so playful, and adorable! 😍

Pure black, she should have a long life. I've had 3 black cats go past 20 years.
There is a nice younger couple at the end of my street who have a senior black cat named Audi. I do a good deal of walking, and he is just one of my neighborhood feline friends i always visit and talk to on my journeys. He is nearly 20 years old, and it is always good to see him.
My last black cat was 22. She played almost up to the day she passed.
I read somewhere that black cats are a sport of Siamese cats, who also are known to live longer that the average cat. Even my part Siamese Langston lived to 2 weeks shy of his 20th birthday.

I really hope so.. I adopted a black cat (my first time) a few months ago and every time I see a video of someone saying goodbye to their cat after a life of (10-12 years) I feel so sad and hurt.. Do I have to adopt another cat in four or five years from now so that I don't feel sad and lonely when I lose it, or will it be the same?

My black kitty used to go jogging with me along country walks. I used to break into a run and the cat, Smudge, used to run too, shooting in and out of bushes, trees and fields, along the path. Unfortunately, the cat disappeared one night and never returned and I was heartbroken. Cried for days. So I only had that cat for 1 year.
We used to hold some amazing conversations. I think he was teaching me 'Cat'. He would be dead by now. RIP Smudge. I loved you. 🐈⬛️ ❤

Cats are soooo amazing actors! One of my cats, years ago, had a not so nice accident in the engine compartment of my car (I was completely unaware that she had hidden in there) which ended in a broken rear leg. It healed pretty good and soon she was able to walk normally again. But when I told her "Oooh, that must have hurt soooo much!!" she began to limp that it broke your heart, but only for a few steps, then she walked normal again!
