This isn’t even the ratatouille game I played as a kid and I have no idea how it’s possible they made two Ratatouille platforming games that are so drastically different and yet so similar.
Yeah same the one I played was the PC version which had different level design, slightly different mechanics, and slightly different graphics. It was way better imo especially since you only had objectives and didn’t HAVE to collect stupid coins

Just out of the top of my head, there is a Shrek game (that I actually remember as really good), a Madagascar and this game that looked exactly the same. It's the animated movie game engine or smth
The ds game is completely different too; though I think I really liked the ds game as a kid, it was actually fun, though I can't exactly remember why...
I absolutely love the fact that he starts to tell himself explicitly NOT to try and do the scout jump off that platform only to somehow talk himself into trying it by doing that. Its like a part of him knew that he wanted to do that and it would be a bad idea, but the part that wanted it actually didn't know it wanted it until he told it to not do it

The shotgun neck trap is weird cause those shells are just going to pop like balloons without chambers to sit in- probably not something you'd survive but even brass cased rounds explode without a chamber to give the casing extra integrity.
