And whenever they release a song outside 127 it becomes an NCT U song. So there's nothing to join cuz all the members are part of NCT U. This is just about the membership.. but screentime-wise or line-wise Johnny, Jungwoo and Yuta are still discriminated. And after them Jaehyun (he gets screentime tho) But I think it's becoming better little by little for yuta. This year's 127 ComeBack Sticker has some visible changes wrt yuta and Johnny. I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I don't feel that every song needs to have an exactly equal distribution of lines. I think that as long as a company isn't purposefully giving members unequal amounts of lines everytime, then to have one or two songs where someone sings less is fine. Some songs feature more rapping or singing, others are more suited to a specific members voice, so it's not bad if this happens every once in a while as long as the artist aren't uncomfortable.
I get you. I especially like it when a group compensates for a member not getting as many lines by giving them a centre part in the choreo or something.

Gidle seems unfair but theres a story behind it and its the fact that it was translated to Chinese and English and released just a few days after the Korean. Yuqi did a lot of the Chinese translation and direction and was just too tired. Sometimes line distribution especially for songs produced by the group themselves are written like that for internal reasons we may never know.

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I don't feel that every song needs to have an exactly equal distribution of lines. I think that as long as a company isn't purposefully giving members unequal amounts of lines everytime, then to have one or two songs where someone sings less is fine. Some songs feature more rapping or singing, others are more suited to a specific members voice, so it's not bad if this happens every once in a while as long as the artist aren't uncomfortable.
I get you. I especially like it when a group compensates for a member not getting as many lines by giving them a centre part in the choreo or something.
