In this video I give you a step-by-step tutorial of how to run Instagram & Facebook ads with the latest 2023 updates. You can watch over my shoulder as I build profitable campaigns from scratch.
“I’m gonna ignore this and hope this won’t pop up again”😅 this is so true
Those platforms come up with a lot of errors, sometimes you just have to ignore them haha
Amazing tutorial
Darius, thanks so much for the video. How do I connect my app to the ad account? When I pull up my app under the campaign it says " not connected to ad account". What am I doing wrong? Thank you sir
Your video ends before you explain how to get rid of the error to the right of the screen - about promoted objects / objectos promovidos... Any chance you could explain how you solved this?
Darius, can you please answer this? I'm having the same problem
@luke! Any clues regarding this issue? Struggling on that since one month
@@yemeyyemey4950 Not gonna lie, I switched over to Reddit ads because I couldn't get the Facebook stuff workin right for me. And having to add all the SDK spyware was a huge turnoff for me. Hope they will give us a simple ads experience that works. Reddit's ad platform is a dream to use.
@@LukePighetti hi Luke! Thank you for the response. According to what i read, even adding the Facebook sdk doesn’t help to fix this issue. I didn’t know about Reddit ad. I’ll try it today. Thank you!
Facebook is a very buggy ad platform and sometimes it just comes up with errors for no reason. I restarted and it worked fine.
Thank you for the video, waiting for the next parts 🙏
You’re welcome. The rest of the lectures will be uploaded to Udemy as my ASO & marketing course
Do you have any best practice recommendations for a traffic campaign when selecting the campaign objective as 'traffic' instead of 'app installs'? It would be great if you could provide an example as well :)
If you're sending traffic, send it to a simple, clear website where users don't get distracted by download the app. As an example, check out Reflectly.app landing page
Hi. What if I want to promote an app that’s both on play store and App Store?
Adding the SDk isn't that simple and currently I am struggling with that a lot. My developer doesn't know and I need to give him more information. can you please share a video on how to integrate the SDk in the app? or atleast share the links for the articles in the description?
Adding SDK is a basic thing in app development. If your developer don't have an idea to integrate Facebook SDK. Better to hire new developer.
thank you helped me a lot
Hi! I am a developer, and am trying to add the SDKs to my React Native application per my marketer's request from this video. Could you give me a pointer to how I can find more information about adding the SDKs to the application?

Thank you for the video! I want to ask a question, is 300 USD can bring some installs ?
You're welcome. You can definitely get some installs, for sure. How many installs you get, however depends on many variables.
When running ads for a company am I going to create a new Facebook account or should I still use my own Facebook account
?
create different bussiness manager or simply different ad account after you integerated the page and all requirements
👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼
Sir, i want to publish an ad on meta but it wants deferred deep link anymore. How can i find the deferred deep link?
You don’t need a deep link if you use the Meta SDK which I recommend, or use an MMP
Is anyone facing the same problems with the FB SDK for Unity mobile games? Non of their versions are working for me, there's always something broken with them. Any similar experiences or best practices?
I don't have experience with this directly but hopefully someone in the community will see this and maybe help you.
Do i have to run separate compaigns for each device? ios and android? people who will click on my ad, will go to app stor efor example with thei samsung?
yes you do a different campaign for each device because they will have different pricing. It's always cheaper to run ads for Android because on average you make less money on Android
@@DariusMora got you! Thank you so much for content!
I am getting the following error "This error message means that there is a missing or invalid field in your promoted objects. The optimization objective "APP_INSTALLS" requires that the "application_id" field value be valid. You need to configure this field in your promoted objects."
Hi G.T. Do you have a fix for this bug?
@@yemeyyemey4950 same here
I am also getting this. Has this been figured out yet?
@@jonthamastersmooth Unfortunately no, I'm still have the same issue but I'm using Reddit ad finally. No need to integrate any framework. So far so good!
To run App Install campaigns you have to run the SDK so the conversions can be measured. If you don't have the SDK, you can run other types of campaigns.
I got a little quesiton can i use my ipad for manage my ads ???
I think the full ads manager features are not available on iPad
Calm has Day1: 16% retention which is the worst I have seen
It's very common to have a big drop off on Day 1, calm is actually a great product but also at a huge scale.
