Glad this popped up - what a hoot! My cats don't do catnip - but they go crazy for dried valerian root! My mum and I have always had catnip in our gardens - except here! Another one for the list . . . just because it is good to have in case! Cheers Erick and happy you are back again.

Can you use the catnip to make tea from the pet store? It says not to for humans but it doesn't say why? Like it is dangerous
@@user-bk8pj1fl7h If they have that warning it might be because catnip just isn't good for some people as I talk about in the video. Otherwise, if they put anything else in with it that could be troublesome. But many packaged catnips for cats are perfectly safe for humans.

Sounds like just what I need! I'm worried about the taste though bc I generally don't add anything to my tea. I wonder how it'd taste ice cold? Great video!
Like I said, you can always try a small amount and if you don't like it, try mixing in some other herbs with it. I don't think it is as bad as some herbs in the taste, but it isn't a traditional taste so it may throw some people off.

Its a very mild musky "mint" it ranges from a olive oil like nutty flavor to a moth balls like taste and smell (i domt get rhe mothballs thing) but its spunky
Cannabis has the same terpenes nepetalone and ocimene
Everyone has a different way of dealing with it.
