Looking at Mombasa Road when this video was made makes you realise how far we have come as a country in terms of infrastructure.
It is the approach most beautiful and amazing I have ever seen!
If not for the clouds at the beginning and the urban area of Nairobi at the end.
The impression was that the plane was flying on another planet!
It reminded me of Avatar.
Thanks for that video.

I had to re-watch 2 times to see my town. I live in ngong town at 4:44 the small town to the left. We always hear airplanes passing overhead. Great video. Aldo the the road leading to rural home is just after the longonot crater
Kenya is beautiful
I climbed that mountain all the way to the top when i was a kid. Nice vid.

7700Purplexity it's close to the equator so prone to be tropical and green 😁
Given the pools of water I saw around the 8:50 mark I would guess this was the rainy season. It gets pretty green around that time
At 6:36 That ridge to the left.. I met a Buffalo in the shrubs when I went for a picnic last year. It's a good place to watch planes overhead and is connected to the Nairobi national park. I've not tried going there again
man i go through up's and downs when in the aviation field (not just speaking about turbulence ) and when im down, your videos bring me hope and new joy, that same bubbly feeling I get from flying. Great stuff when i doing Airfield ground lighting maintenance at HKJK i was always fascinated by how Swiss air pilots executed their touchdowns right at the PAPIs.....got photos too

Flew on the same plane to NBO in Dec 2010 was a really nice flight apart from the service. The plane was delivered around April 2010 and still in good condition

Just watched the Montreal video and this one. Great work. Here in Australia I think the A330 is more considered a regional aircraft but LX certainly seem to get some good longhauls with them.

6:24 the small town down there is called Tuala.. Lions from the park eat residents occasionally, almost every month one person is killed by a lion
For real? Im mind boggled about the Lions eat residents bit mate.. good Jesus..and you still go for picnic in the wide open? I’d hide in the car and cry 😂
@@dnhug it's near the park so once in a while lions escape and roam into that area. It's good for picnics seeing planes overhead but one must be careful. Only daytime
