Our fullbacks were definitely a weak point. If we had Tomi and Tierney playing I feel like we’d never have dropped off in the second half because dominating those wide spaces would be so much easier.
Xhaka and Elneny done well again, fantastic for them! And Ødegaard… He really is at the center of everything good for us!
Definitely missed our full backs in the last month. Maybe our chs are not as good as some think they are.
If tomiyasu comes back it might turn into a back three with Tavares moving forward up the pitch

If Xhaka gets a 9, I think Elneny deserves a 9 too. Maybe those who were in the stadium missed out out on just how good he was yesterday. I remember one moment when Nketiah was tired towards the end of the game and couldn't press but Elneny still found the energy to press and return back to his midfield slot

Tavares is not the guy, man. If bruno didnt miss the pen, its a whole different game. He also almost caused another pen. We should get another lb this summer.

Both Tavares and Cedric had a shocker. Arteta needs to replace these 2 in the summer considering Tomiyasu and Tierney are not reliable to stay fit all season.
Who is reliable to be fit all season? We know Tierney gets injured easily but I don't see that with Tomiyasu. Everyone can get injured. Nothing is guaranteed

Elneny deserves to play more and get a new contract. He's always been Mr. Reliable... he's not flashy, he doesn't demand attention, he just does what is asked of him and nothing less.
Tomiyasu should play Left back!! Tavares was shocking never seen anything like it. Cedric just little bit better than him. This team is so thin on quality players I have no idea how we are competing for top4?!

But I don't think that Arteta is gonna do that. He probably will just replace Cedric for Tomi and Tavares will have to do play on the left. We need to get an extra left back on the summer and loan Tavares cause I don't trust him a bit. Even bringing someone from the academy for the left back position is better than that guy...
What Xhaka does so well is make himself available for simple outlets in the middle of the pitch. When he and Partey are both out, you can see how much slower we are moving the ball up field. This side of his game is extremely underrated
7? A 3 for me. Tavares could quite possibly be the worst fullback/defender in all of Europe, gave away a pen and could have quite easily lost us the game. do you know how bad you have to be to score a goal and have everyone completely forget it and beg for you to be hooked? 😭

Love the content, but I gotta say the ratings are all messed up, Tavares scored the opener and everything but he had a terrible game apart from that, he literally messed up everything he could’ve. Giving him like a 5 would’ve been much fairer and more encouraging because he has the qualities and potential to do better
Very true. Tavares was extremely poor outside of the goal he scored. Gave up a PK for no reason (why was his hand there??!) and then almost gave up another one. His passing was terrible. He had no pressure one time at midfield and dribbled a few times until there was pressure and then got the ball nicked off him. He was terrible. 5 is generous, I'd have given him a 3 or 4.

Robbie has the worst player ratings. Get James please. I'm an Arsenal & Arteta fan but i genuinely think we were fortunate today especially in the 2nd Half. We were just more efficient today & tbh some of the calls from the ref could have easily been against us so idk what game Robbie was watching with all these high ratings. Played much better against Chelsea especially defensively.
He gave high rating to those who helped in the goals and low scores for some of the defense, don’t disrespect the Dons name

Saka same rating as ESR!!? He won and scored a penalty, and hit the shot for the first goal that rebounded to Tavares. No way he gets the same rating as ESR. 8 for Saka at least, especially if ESR was a 7.
Ramsdale made some decent saves and one great one on to the post, but he also should have punched out the cross for Ronaldo’s goal but hesitated. He also nearly gifted a goal to United passing straight to Bruno Fernandes. He had some dodgy passes and held to the ball too long in moments. 6 for Ramsdale.
Ramsdale, Cedric and Tavares all had shockers but I don’t care we got the 3 points. So happy to see Super Tomiyasu back ❤️

He also could have punched out that cross to Ronaldo for their goal but he hesitated and then was in an awkward position to save it. Ramsdale had a few dodgy passes. Made a great save and some decent saves but overall he was a bit shaky. I’d give him a 6 max!

I have to say, even watching on tv. I have noticed such a stark difference in the atmosphere in the stadium this year. The singing, the chanting, the shithousery. Big up the Arsenal family man, after nearly 2 decades it feels like there is a real buzz and a real energy about our club. Added bonus that all the pundits and opposition hate us again.

How Tavares gets more than a 5 AT MOST is beyond me. His first 20-25 minutes in the second half were some of the worst I've ever seen in football. Every time he got the ball he found a different way to lose it dangerously, and every time he shot in the second half they had to issue warnings in the airspace over London!

My player ratings would be different. Elneny was my man of the match so the other players he gave 9 too I’d have to put down to 8. I’d be giving Ramsdale and Tavares a lower mark

He didn't score yesterday but Nketiah is the unsung hero. His goals Vs Chelsea & his dribbling & versatility against uniTURD helped pull their defence in all directions. Having Elneny back in the starting 11 was also great. I feel like we should've gone for Houssem Auoar bcos Odegaard seems very soft in the Palace game. Odegaard is like Ozil. We need a Fabregas/Ramsey type of guy & Auoar seems a better choice, IMO.

These ratings are absolutely ridiculous. Smith Rowe was poor and Elneny was outstanding yet they are only 1 point apart? Also Eddie was poor again today. Shot straight at De Gea, was offside when it mattered. His pressing is also overrated, as I hear loads of people say he works hard. Every time he comes on in the 80th minute he gets outrun by Odegaard who presses with more intensity than Eddie. Eddie still plays like a raw 18 year old, not like someone who has been in our squad for 4 seasons now.
Did he say we'd have to have a massive slip up, we just lost three in a row, to teams we should have beat, so a slip up is always just around the corner.
When we lost three (3) games in a row, i called for Arteta's head. Had the team won 2 of the 3 losses, this team would have lost to Chelsea and United. A glad the team has weathered the storm especially against Manchester Ununited!!
Tavares and Gabriel were at fault for Ronaldo's goal. There was nothing Ramsdale could have done there. I worry that Gabriel hasn't been playing that well recently. And about Tavares less said the better. Would give him ranking in minus if not for the goal.

Either Gabriel or Tavares had some idea of their surrounding, they couldn't let Ronaldo sneak through.
It is a carboncopy of the 2nd goal we conceded against Chelsea. Tavares had no idea of his surrounding then. Yesterday it was both Tavares and Gabriel.
Also Benjamin White has been the better defender of the two since half the season but people don't seen to give him the credit when due.
Nuno Tavares a 7 is a disgrace and a huge delusion. He gave away 2 pens, one which was given and one which was not and we were lucky to get away with both. If he didn't score a goal his score should be 0 or 1. Scoring that goal gives him a 3 at most. What a disgrace!

The back line gets 7s and Eleny an 8. Thats a hell of a difference in performance between a 7 and 8 🤦♂️. So many people said Eleny bossed it again, including Wrighty, and gets only gets an 8 🤦♂️. Turkish, James and the Judge do better player ratings.

Too much adrenaline going through Robbie at the time this was filmed. It was not a good performance, it was a good result.
The performance was very shaky at the back and we rode our luck and could easily have been beaten if their shooting had been a little more accurate. We played much better against Chelsea. The scores Robbie gave do not reflect that.
Was at the game. Seen Xhaka run back to defense and wake them up after the dodgy spell we had. Great leader can see why he was captain. Also understand why he’s not captain anymore. Maybe time to forgive??

Robbie mentions momentum being key to the run-in. That international break really fucked the team up or we would probably be sitting in 3rd by now
Nuno did what Nketiah often does not, get in to opportunistic spots. Sometimes we complain that Nketiah does not get service but as a striker you often make your own service with your instincts. Getting in to good spots so you can capitalize. Often I am yelling at the screen for Laca or Nketiah to move! Ronaldo is the best in the world at it, followed by Lewandowski and Benzema.

ESR was a 5. Tavares I can just about accept your 7 because man utd saw him as the weak link in our side and was attacking his side alot. Yes he made some bad mistakes but considering he isn't in the team much and the pressure he had on him I was still impressed. But ESR was bad.

This Arsenal side now demonstrating that they may actually be able to play like the traditional Arsenal of the like of Rocastle, Adams, Davis, Bold, Wright, O'Leary, Winterburn, Merson, Keown, Lauren, Parlour, Henry, Vieira etc.
Esr was really quiet yesterday. Tavares got more crosses in then esr and tavares had a shocker for 85mins of the match lol. Elneny was constantly getting us going yesterday as much as xhaka scored that goal I'd say elneny deserves man of the match dude. I just hope when partey is back mikel partners him up with elneny. I have been watching Robbie for a long time and never have such disagreements with his ratings. The euphoria of winning has gotten to him. For example, 7 for Tavares who scored but otherwise had a nightmares and Ramsdale who gifted Fernandez an easy chance. Sorry, but winning doesn’t justify poor performances
