what people forget is, we have some serious injury absentees, we play a massive game midweek, united had a day extra to recover, they came back from a hiding and a reaction was expected. `Arsenal average age was 22 years and 02 months on the field today and they got the job done today. Well done
The announcers on the us broadcast didn’t mention our injuries or us missing key players once. All they talked about was how bad United was and how they should be doing better against this young squad. The bias is so real.

I'll be real, Ronaldo not taking the pen summed up United's current situation. Maybe, just maybe Ronaldo wanted Bruno to take the pen to build Bruno's confidence, but it's one of those no brainer things for a manager/club. They overthought it all. The reason was that he was supposed to be their rock solid defense that would solve the defense problem at United, however, that didn't turn out to be correct. Now United are in the same place as in they were before Maguire - looking for a good defender.
So essentially - the narrative was 80 million gone and you are still in the pre Maguire era where even if Maguire plays its the same old story. Defense is weak.
