I remember seeing them and I saw the list of the song orders on white poster board in marker they kept at front for the set order. It fell over or moved a little bit. Saddam A Go Go was the only one that stuck out and all I could think was FUCK YEAH! Then one of the band members moved it back in place. I was so pumped and ready for it!

I used to work as a stage hand. Seen Gwar like 10-12 times. One of my fondest memories is backstage and Flattus comes up to me and says" Hey man, can you help me put my face on?" Comedy gold. That and finding female friends in the crowd to feed to the World Maggot.

A great friend (R.I.P. Little Ronnie) took me to my first GWAR show. He didn't tell me anything about the band. I thought the black plastic draped around the set was for appearance. Was I ever wrong!!! I went in wearing a white t-shirt. It came out an off orange color from all the fluids that were coming from the stage. And I couldn't figure out why everybody up front was flipping off Dave. I found out a short while later!! Thanks for 'peeing' on me Dave!!! And I flipped him off at every show afterwards!!! Good times....

My 2nd GWAR show I saw a dude jump from the balcony and just eat straight up floor. He clipped my shoulder with his boot on the way down. Still the most metal moment at any show I've ever seen that wasn't a festival.

I saw GWAR with Brockie as the front man (few times was with Cory before he died too) around 8 or 9 times. Saw them once after his death with the new line up and it was not the same and def have no interest in ever seeing em again. I don't blame the rest of the band for continuing on though, it's not their fault he fuckin OD'd like an asshole. It was right as they began to get popular again so he couldn't of picked a worse time. There has to be a fair amount of money and definitely a lot the rest of the bands time Invested in GWARs live stuff and it's not like they could just do something else in another project with all of those props. Just have to accept it for what it is and hope they get a new fan base becy there is no bringing him back.
