The fact that she changed the children’s last name to her last name right after the murder is enough evidence for me of her/their guilt. Utterly disgusting

Her testimony during trial made me sick and I hope all juries members can see through her lies. I'm a bit disappointed by a prosecution when Wendy testified and stated she changed kids middle and last name because she was afraid of their wellbeing/someone was after them because of their dad's last name. A prosecution didn't follow by asking it was her brother and mother, how about middle name, why she took kids away from Dan's family etc. I like to believe they did, I perhaps missed the video. She is involved in Dan's murder, she provided a crucial information about Dan Markle's where about. She admitted during an initial interview/interrogation to police and she stated they spoke over phone earlier his murder day.

The key to understanding Wendi, is the stealing of their birthright (from Markel to Adelson). That's the way to understand her hatred of her kids dad.

If Wendi Adelson thinks that she and her family are innocent, she would be out their publicly touting her innocence and trying to help her mother and brother. Instead, she’s hiding in silence, the optics are terrible, so are her excuses.
A narcissist puts tremendous energy into their ability to deceive others. Wendi knew that a major performance was necessary to try to convince the police that she had no idea what happened to Dan. It was most likely rehearsed in her mind hundreds of times. I agree with you that it was a foolish decision, but Wendi was aware that perception of her would be poor if she lawyered up, immediately. She has great faith in her attractive appearance and her childlike innocence routine. You'll notice how she cut off all communication after her interview. Her performance failed to deceive LE, so then she went silent. No more nice, innocent Wendi.
She helped orchestrate the murder and her thought process was the less she knows the better off attitude to use her lawyer skills on the stand to deflect everything. Wendi complained to her mother constantly about Dan and manipulated her mother after Dan sought out Donna in taking her grandchildren away from her . This is when Donna convinced her loving son to find someone to kill Dan. Wendi a perfect example of narcissistic behavior another case of a smart girl doing a stupid thing she had to show up at the crime scene her narcissistic behavior took her towards that to get the rush to know it was done she couldn’t wait. Just like Charlie he couldn’t drive the 45 minutes to meet his mom. He had to know right there and then on the phone about the bump. They couldn’t keep their mouth shut. They never thought they would get caught they thought they had the perfect murder. Even Charlie and Donna they have the thought process we didn’t physically kill anyone they’ve actually convinced themselves, and they had nothing to do with it, even though they paid the hitman and set it up the hit.
This is a fact that family from day one have never inquired of the police as to any progress in finding the killer of Dan Markel speaks volumes

Donna pushed Charlie to do something, to ensure Wendi could move with the children. Charlie then did the planning, checking in with his mother. But for Wendi’s constant complaints, the desire to kill Dan, would never have happened. Wendi is clearly the most intelligent of the bunch, as well as the most cunning.

Going out of your way to say "of course not" would appear to apply casially, being that the concept of Dan's murder coming more specifically in the form of a birthday gift... is indeed an odd accusation. Even if it's not impossible for it to be true.

The grandparents had a major motive since husband had filed a motion that grandmother have only supervised visits with children because the kids told the dad that the grandmother said he was "stupid" and was "trying to take my sunshines away." That was a real threat to the grandmother and thus a motive.

Soooo, the investigator that examined the family's phone records found something on Wendi's phone where "dad's present" was something being discussed followed by "delete these messages" and that was 4 months before the man's birthday. Hmmm.
