  • Just a fun little time lapse video showing the drive from Cottonwood to Jerome and over the mountain pass down into Prescott Valley. This video is in 4x speed to condense for time.
If you get car sick or dizzy easily, don't watch this.

Nice, just got back from 10 day vacation in the southwest. Drove from southern arizona up to show lo on 191 (amazing drive). Then down through payson and over to Cottonwood. Spent 3 nights in Cottonwood while checking out Prescot Valley and Prescot. Also spent one night in fountain hills. One of my best vacations, had been 7 years since my last Arizona visit.

I spent weeks in the area in 2009 and got to know (and love) this road. Happy times. Thanks for the memories.

Or, if someone wants to watch this at a slower speed, they can click the gear-icon in the lower right of the screen of the video, then click on Speed, and then click on a slower speed. It distorts the music, but one can always mute the audio and play a favorite soundtrack in another open tab. ~ Thanks for sharing this.

I'm planning to bicycle this route , coming down from Flagstaff to Sedona, Cottonwood, Jerome, Prescott Valley to Tucson. I left Durango Colorado 6 weeks ago and have been 3000 miles thru CO,AZ,CA,NV,UT and back to AZ.

now the Prescott Valley looks like crap with all the stupid HOAs standing and still being built. Essentially, there is barely any open space left on the right side.
