I think it’s going to be good The ability to comm with folks in game if done right will be awesome If they use this so we can actually give commands to our minor faction that will be even better but I am very hopeful
The game itself seems to be built very strangely, I've had trouble dropping in the same instance with friends before. I imagine squadrons are going to highlight connectivity issues in a very bad way.
Frontier is amazingly behind the times. Discord, anyone? This is an expansion of the clunky and broken Wings system, cut-and-paste, pretend-development to shut people up about spacelegs and atmospheric landings.

inb4 Squadrons are restricted to Horizons DLC. Or you have to pay for it separate.
