I was curious about this. People tell to do it this way but I just bought my first mustang 2020. But I had a question. Like say your doing 30 roll, what should your rpm’s be? And when you take off. Do you step on it then put it in drive or but it back in drive then step on it ?
Mathew Zavala RPMs depend on your gearing you usually wanna be at 5500rpm or so? And yes as soon as you floor it throw it In drive that way as the RPMs climb the car will just shift itself
I think having it in drag mode and doing what he did is the best option, cause drag mode is obviously for racing so I think it will give it all the power and really stretch her legs
Question if I’m D but flick the switch to have the car in Sport + can I still drive around the city like that without having to shift myself ? This my first GT
So I have a 17 toon only chayote... You think a roll race from 40 should be best for me? Automatic... So basically 4th gear at 40mph on S mode then as soon as you floor it throw it on D mode... Sound about right?
Pablo Lopez What’s your rpm are you in 4th at 40mph? I like to sit around 5500-6000 rpm for a roll. And yeah just throw it in D and let it do it’s thing!
You do realize it doesn’t work as effectively as a gt premium because you don’t have a sport mode switch the only way you can access sport mode is by moving down from drive to sport with you’re trick when you down shift on sport and go back to drive for the computer to start shifting on its own you also take the car off sport mode. If you had the premium mustang you could keep the car on sport mode with the switch for the computer to shift more aggressively and faster for a race
The way I’m doing it is for roll racing, WOT doesn’t matter wether you’re in sport mode or drive. Sport just holds gears at higher rpms for you. And most people that race are tuned so the transmission would shift more aggressively than factory. But yes track mode on a premium would definitely be more aggressive stock.
Because you essentially throw the car into manual mode drop down in gears on a roll as the auto will not do it aggressively enough then put it back into auto mode …you can’t just floor it.
Badass dude, I just bought my 3rd coyote and its the first auto was curious about this.
mtalamantes100994 nice! And yeah not a lot of people race autos like this they just go on Drive
Bro thank you thank thank you for this! I love RUclips. Whatever you need it’s there.
Thats a dope s550 bro 👌
Thanks bro appreciate it!
It’s not bad to switch from S to D while on the gas?
Nick M no it’s fine the computer just takes over.

1st comment let's goo...mt82 magnetic metallic 2019 gt premium PP
10r80 shadow black 2019 gt premium pp1 🔥
I’m gonna try this out. I was curious
Let me know how it goes!
Would it be the same even if we have sport +, drag mode and track mode ? 💯
ElCali_5.0 yeah it’s the same thing

Yeah you don’t have to shift yourself in sport+

@@xoteb9869 I appreciate this video man!! Thank you!!
No 3rd gear on a 40 roll.
how did you get the digital speedometer
Caleb they come standard on 2018 and up mustangs
What if In track mode ? And still have it at S
Same thing, track mode would just have better and more aggressive shifts

Why would you shift out of sport mode into normal driving mode not a smart move buddy
If you have it in sport you have to shift with the paddles, when you put it back in drive it will shift it’s self
@jxcksolos9604 then get on the paddles and shift that coyote in the ketchup 7500 rpm all day hahahahha
Aren’t you slower tho when you drop it back into drive after charging gear since in sport mode it makes you go faster ?
Why tf are all these "how to roll race" videos guys in automatics🤣 you press the fucking gas
ikr tf is he holding his shifter for
i hate stupid ppl , the 10 speed is more effective when you do this method . if you just press the gas and someone does this you will lose
@@bigstunner1381 go look in the mirror and hate yourself then kid
Because you essentially throw the car into manual mode drop down in gears on a roll as the auto will not do it aggressively enough then put it back into auto mode …you can’t just floor it.
