    This is a great video, safety is very important and I'm the fastest out of all my friends so I have to slow down the most after a race and where I live it's next to impossible to not have any traffic so we need to give a bunch of space since the other peoples safety is the most important and it's not gonna be fun if someone gets hurt.

    If your car is boosted (turbo) the closest to redline idea doesn’t work. It works for N/A cars like the mustang in the video! But on boosted cars you may need to learn your car and where it hits boost before you do rolls. For example my GTIs 2nd gear goes all the way up to 75mph but when doing a 60 roll I use 3rd gear because my turbo doesn’t hit boost from 6k to 7k rpms.

      From a dig I still have everything off. If you're on a slick and have your air pressure set up right along with decent suspension, you shouldn't spin. However with street tires, you'll never dead hook from a dig. You still want to have it off, you just have to pedal it out. The main limitation on a dig race is your tire. Hope I earned a sub

I don't care about traction because my car isn't high powered. There is a debate going on, some say if using low tyre pressure is will reduce the rolling circumference which in result make car accelerate quicker but some say with the low tyre pressure there is more rolling resistance and won't make it go quicker.

      @R3VIVALGT  4 месяца назад

      @@r.k862 I'll give you a perfect example. At the track, on a street tire I have a higher trap speed but slower time (due to lack of traction and spinning). On a drag slick, which has much less air but greatly increased traction, I have a lower trap speed but a faster time due to what you said, rolling resistance. The rolling circumference thing is thought of by people who are wayyy overthinking things. If you drive fast enough on a flat tire it'll still be the same size due to the centrifugal force of the tire spinning. A smaller wheel AND tire will actually decrease not only rotational mass but will result in a higher speed if traction is maintained.

    • @R3VIVALGT

      Just don't hold it there for a super long time and it'll be fine. In the 5.0 it's perfectly safe, the only problems you run into are the oil pump gears and crank sprockets breaking, but that's really only if you're bouncing it off your limiter.

      Nope but if your racing your car a lot it’s going to hurt the motor, clutch, tires etc... get over it or don’t race, don’t bitch around shifting early and slowly have some fun and win some races

    No they didn't have their TC on, because if they didn't they wouldn't do a 360 into the oncoming lane and hit pedestrians. And most of those clowns don't know how to recover from a fish tail or tail spin. You literally can watch those videos and hear them mashing the gas pedal while in the middle of a tail spin or fish tail. That's a driver mod issue not a TC issue. TC off exacerbates the issue to a higher degree and what it comes down to is people just can't fucking drive.
    That said yes Safety is #1 and TC on is not the culprit in those videos.

    Doing this is throwing the shift strategy off. It’s better to start in D get to desired gear then gas it and let the computer do the rest. There’s no reason to be in S unless you need to hold the gear for a longer period of time
