Here's the Lightning Cup in Mario Kart DS. Since it features the older tracks, it usually takes a shorter time to beat.

I am playing this on a 3DS. My 3DS has a capture board mod that connects to the PC and records what is seen on the 3DS screen.

This is the only mario kart that has an anti-climatic final retro cup, ending with yoshi cicuit? In wii they end with a bowser castle, and mario kart 7 and 8 with a retro rainbow road

olmi Yoshi's Circuit was intense because of the turns of the track and how the more skilled racer would win at this level without a doubt. It doesnt have to be grand to be climatic. The level design alone is what makes it climatic.

olmi Yes you can have a bowser's castle end up being the easiest course in the game. Aesthetics isnt what makes something intense.

N64 Bowser's Castle is the only last course of Retro Lightning Cup that does not appear in Mario Kart 8 or it's port.

SNES Choco Island 2: Awful, those ramps are annoying! Score: 2/10
N64 Banshee Boardwalk: Awful. I can see the track better, but it's feels so empty. Score: 2/10.
GBA Sky Garden: Okay, that remix is really good and sound so happy! Score: 6/10
GCN Yoshi Circuit: Decent, the classic Yoshi-shaped is course is here. Score: 6/10
DS Lightning Cup score: 16/40

Easily the best retro cup in this game. The rest had pretty boring tracks, but this cup had all fun ones (Leaf Cup was also pretty good, albeit not as good as this cup).
