- Synth guitar is new to me... The Mooer E7 could be a relatively cheap way to explore weird sounds with a guitar. I came up some sounds I thought were cool too...

Sweet dreams are made of this. Wonderful video. I'd love the specs on the 7th tone you got. Very much so something I'm interested in at the moment.
Sweet dreams are made of this...I already have the Roland VG-88, the GR-50, the GR-09, the GR-30, the GR-33- the GR-20, the VG-99 and the GR-55....but I’ll probably buy this one. As well.....who am I to disagree....
any of this got proper trumpet sound? thank you
@@rzyfcuoficjalnie6723 the best trumpet sounds come from the GR-30 and GR-55.
Wow, I wish I have at least one of those.
Good for you
Imagine throwing an octaver on it
@@artgonewrong moi j'ai le gr-700 et la g-707 ça t'intéresse ?
That is a cool pedal. Great to add another texture to riffs. Swells, cool synth sounds are awesome 👌
It’s a great entry pedal into this world. Someone more experienced to get better sounds out of it
Just picked this up last night. Really excited to try it out with me and my band today. Sweet dreams are made of these.
Sweet dreams are made of this - picked up this pedal on an Amazon flash sale and tried it out last night. Having no idea what I was doing, I found your video, and it’s very concise and helpful! Definitely fun to tinker around with
I like this as an alternative to the EHX pedal I had, smaller is better when a pedal doesn’t get too much use in a set. Sweet dreams Andy!
Subbed because I think you're cool.
Also your reviews are solid.
You have organized your communication and demonstration so excellently. Every demonstrator should study with you. Subscribing!🔥🔥
Thank you, welcome to the channel
Interesting device. I might have to add that to the when I'm working again list.
Remember in that X-Men movie how Quicksilver saved all those people from the explosion while "Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This" played in the background? Good times.
Oh I DO!!!
Hey Sassy were you just in Shane's InTheBlues live chat?
@@blackmirror5559 - yes, I was.
@@TheGuitarGeek which setting would that be :) I just got it
and three years later sweet dreams are still made of this. what a great little pedal!
Pretty cool review 😎🎸🎹 I bought this pedal a few years ago and I find it to be a fun and unique pedal to own. My personal favorite settings are the 8-bit and edm tones. This is a great pedal to own if you like to experiment with new sounds. I definitely had fun playing with this pedal. This is a keeper for me.
thank you for this video.
sweet dreams are made of THESE
.sir.
Thank you for your fun and smile thru your testing of this amazing micropedal!! Gonna get 1 fo sho!! Let's go back in the 80'slike (;
Sweet dreams are made of this is likely the best demo of this I've seen so far. The couple of demos I've looked up made it seem this was just an auto-wah with a few funny voices.
I could have hours of fun with this one Andy. Still have my heart set in a boss SY 1 though 😀 I really enjoyed this one Andy - cheers 😀😀👍👍
Sweet dreams are made of these
Sweet dreams are made of this... But that pedal sounds awesome. That just may be my first pedal.
Sweet dreams are made of this.. it seems like a good 'toe dipper', you were obviously having fun with it. Personally, I would, (and did), save the extra £75 and stretch to the Boss SY1. The Boss has a lot more patches, 121 of them, allows for an expression pedal which really opens it up, and has a good resale value at the moment. Nice work, cool vid, cheers.
Sweet Dreams are made of this pedal and the surreal music I could create using a looper to listen through the night.
The second version of number two sounds amazing!
A nice pedal at that price. How would it sound going through a micro-amp with no effects loops? And how does it react with bending, fast picking and legato?
I've been putting together a strictly mini pedal board, and it seems this would be an excellent addition!
For sure!
My sweet dreams are made of this: will you be doing a review of the ambient reverb?
Great vid mate you have a new subscriber 😁
Welcome aboard!
I have a Synth 9 pedal and would enjoy this Mooer synth E7 pedal, to broaden My choice of sound possibilities. I'm also attracted. By the low price and also the fact that sweet dreams are made of this.
Thanks for stopping by, Peter. The price of this makes it a strong contender
That ARP function seems very limited. There are some cool sounds though, some fuzz, flanger and that organ sound and a nice dry/wet mix, could produce a nice rendition of 'are friends electric?'. Alternatively a nice take on 'sweet dreams are made of this' with a bit of thought. 😎
Good job
funny to try that stuff with a P90 semi hollow..haven't u got a kind of whammy Ibanez hard stuff axe? can be interesting with some gain on
Nice vídeo. There is some guitar pedal better than E7 for EDM/PAD tone?
I like that backscratcher guitar on the wall behind you - the pedal? pass - sweet dreams... &Co.
Sweet dreams are made of this pedal
Imagine this combined with their Slow Engine and the discontinued Mooergan you'll get Saxophone effects 😎
Sweet dreams are made of these!
Sweet dreams ARE made of this!!
Sweet dreams are made of these sweet sweet pedals
Sweet dreams are made of this… Greetings from Spain.
sweet dreams are made of this. I like this pedal it really is cool
Does it have a high glassy tone/sound like high vibraphone or hitting glass cups with a tea spoon ? :D
Sweet dreams are made of this. you said, 'It has an arpeggio mode', I heard 'It has a Muse mode'.
I might do more synth. I might not... Sub here! geni.us/SuperSubscribe
sweet dreams are made of this : Cool petal !
“I’m confused. But that DID weeyo.”
I'm getting so many videogame flashbacks with this pedal hahaha Sweet dreams are made of these
Hey V! I wanted to play frogger after this
Uuuu so 80'ssss good choice!
Pretty sure old video games used fm synthesis not analog
Hi is this good for ambient music..like adding tunes 🙂
Can that pedal do the sounds on Van Halen Dancing in the street?
How would the trumpet effect sound on violin or cello? I would like to try it to play salsa or funk
I can’t say for sure but it responded really well to the low notes of the guitar
I've been considering grabbing this thing when I get some money someday even though I'd really like to save for a Microcosm. Maybe if I tell my wife that sweet dreams are made of this, she'll somehow agree and be ok with my new purchase/s. Pretty decent vid, btw! Rock on and stuff and shit!
Hahaha thanks man. I hope that works!
@@TheGuitarGeek ha! It won't but thanks for the nice thought! 😉
Anybody know how low the price goes on these on Amazon? I've been watching them sit at $81 for awhile. Sweet dreams are made of this
Been watching about 3 months. First time responding, or tossing in my 2-cents worth. You I like. You have a Good Presence.(that s-box Sucks & everybody knows it) Maybe you can help me find the Episode where you show the inexpensive Strats?? Besides Squire's, which is best in terms of workmanship?? Good wood, well made necks etc., etc. THX MUCH.
Hi Erik! Welcome! You’re looking for the Jet guitars video I think
@@TheGuitarGeek Well Thank You Very Much for responding. And So quickly. 9 times out of 10 we on the 'Other Side' rarely ever get a response.( I knew you were a Class Act🥇) and I mean that. Good Upbringing. OK ya, I will look for that episode. I have 9 expensive Guitars All Above $1200 plus usd. One Special Rickenbacker from 65 that's been with me from day one(it survived prison in Beirut 71, as did I) and just purchased a Roasted Maple neck from 'Warmoth' to build something to my liking. A Very Sweet neck. The 'Wizard' profile. Now am looking for one of those El-Cheapo's to Mess around with. Thanks Again for helping. And I have to ask--did I hear correctly that You are in Austria??? That's a Nice country. Sorry this is such a long text. Cheers.👍
Does it come with magnifier glasses?:-7
Can this send midi events to a software synth?
The Fro is strong with this one. Keep up the good work Daddy Fro
Can you use it on acoustic guitar and how it sounds?
Seems like this would be best for making chiptunes !
Sweet dreams are made of this.... what the world needs is more weeeeewoooo
Not at keen on the arpeggiator - that could soon become irritating if used much at all. Presets also interesting, but more control is needed to refine them. Sorry, this is one I think to miss. Having said that, 6 (no ARP) was neat as was 7.
Sweet dreams are made of cheese. Sounds alright, I reckon I'm gonna give it a bash at reviewing.
sweet dreams are made of this
(Lukas) Sweet dreams are made of this. Funny pedal, but I can't think of a pratcial use case.
it's funny, if people see you playing using this type of effect (like solo playing), they say crazy stuff like oh it's not real, he's not really playing that, it's the effects etc. it's really annoying because yes it is the effects but i guarantee that if i let you try playing this guitar right now you will not be able to sound like i do, it's kind of a bummer. that's why we love effects though right? they require a different skillset and knowledge and become a whole second instrument
Sweet dreams are made of this.....broken hearted with Synth9 returns.
You want me to put 'sweet dreams are made of these'? Well, who am I to disagree?
I do apologise, especially if loads of other people have said the same cheesy line.
You could literally make a whole 8 bit game soundtrack with this thing
I would love to.
Sweet Dreams are made of this 🎶
I dunno. I can't hear any settings that would be useful for me.
I don’t particularly care about this guitar but man, that pedal sounds stunning, I want it! lol
What ist the sort of this beautyful guitar?🎸🎸😍👍
Sweet Dreams are made of this. Did you ever see that video where the guy sings that at the ‘gas’ station?
No....
@@TheGuitarGeek sad times.
What beautiful guitar is that?
This pedal be good if before overdrive or after to positioning????
it totally depends on your desired result. Both ways would create interesting sounds.
@@TheGuitarGeek I want maximum results. in which position is the most suitable for the pedal???
@@TheGuitarGeek Is this pedal a type of pedal like wah and whammy? which is intended to simulate other sounds?
You got a Bob Ross thing going
What kind of guitar is that???
Sweet creams are made of theses, sounds dredged battered beaten and schmoozed into an 8 bit pile of synth. Fun Totally, useable IDK??
Great review. However I hate the pedal tones. I would much rather get the boss synthesizer pedal
Thanks, I still haven't tried the Boss
Sweet creams are made of peas.
Sweet dreams are made of RRRRRRR's. I forgot to leave a comment yesterday.
I remember playing an electric synth guitar pickup years ago, the latency was terrible, my advice with pedals like these for what it’s worth, is use a volume pedal with it and use delay pedals ect.
The point I am making is there are no issues regarding latency with cheaper pedals like these, they are a grounding to start with like any cheap synth and you need to add to them
Reminds me a little of The Who’s synth on Who Are You. I think I need one.
Sweet Dreams Are Made of This.
Sweeet dreams are made of this?(?) Isn´t it "these"?
Roland/BOSS have nothing to fear 😂
What model guitar is this?

@@TheGuitarGeek cool, thanks man!
Funny how this pedal tracks polyphonic chords significantly better than the (much) more expensice synth9
Muse has entered the chat
I don't particularly care about this pedal but man, that guitar looks stunning, I want it! lol

Sweet creams are made of these. Can I play Children of Bodom synth solos on that thing?))))
Well that depends....

what did you expect for the price ?l ol
What did you expect?
krispy kream makes my lips drip
...Sweet Dreams ARE made of these(...fun things!...)!!!...I think it's Cool,my Brother!!!...Peace...
I’ve got one, sounds like a fart in a trash can....if they would add a “midi-out” one could play vintage sound modules. Same for EHX’ 9er series: Midi pleeeeeease!
So much Fro.
the only thing in this video more impressive then the pedal Andy is your hair ... man its going to take a extra wide angle lenses pretty soon just to get a head shot! LOL :-)
hi. im from Pluto. U play our beat here.
Are you still a planet?
Ur hair looks like it could house various bird species..jk😅
Good vid

Oh man. Nintendo is back baby!!
Its a ME!
Sweet dreams...
that Wee-yo could make me waste a lot of hours.
Unfortunately, I don't see it being very useful.
Damn you, making me spend money !
sorry not sorry
If only it had a tiiiiiiiiiny midi in….
