RPM are the masters when it comes to making N/A power on the LS3/LS7/LT1.
yeah unfortunately N/A build for mustang aren't as great as LT or LS engine you can do so much more with heads and cams where the 5.0 is just best boosting. sure you can get over 500 with a 5.0 but you would really struggle to make 600 like this engine did. Also the block wasn't even touched yet as far as sleeves/ oversize bore and pistons
Now if the owner wants it they can add a procharger on top this head cam package and push 800 hp

Zl1 is the better choice. Hci lt1 you’re troubled with weakens pistons. Where the lt4 is a fully forged rotating assembly

You are a 6.0L or 6.2L? That TQ Is SUPER high either way. There are people with 400-410ci not making that torque.
@dennisrobinson8008 His horsepower is really high as well. He probably just had a unicorn. A stage 3 Vengeance build is only a little over 500 horses and 450 TQ on 93.

Big noob question guys , would the A10 do well with the same setup? And would you see the same numbers or more with the manual
Automatic has a small whp loss compared to the manual so the numbers would be a little less but still just as fast on the street
The A10 will make up for the power lost by a ton. The 10 speeds are insane

definitely should do catch can. I got one to be safe, everytime i check it im glad i got it bc there's a lot more oil than i thought. Not a deal breaker, but definitely better to have it

With the right driver and conditions, car should do really low 10’s, high 9’s.

That dyno reads really high. Normal dyno it would be 530 to 550 hp
Idk man these heads cam lt1s make high 5s low 6s all day with the right setup. Mine made 575-590 on e85 on two different dynos in 95 degree weather. SAE corrected. One was a dyno jet and the other was mustang dyno.

@@slickrickdarula9483 I’m running TSP el c7 CAM, Frankenstein heads, e85, Katech 103 tb, MSD intake. Kooks catless 2” headers, full Corsa. And rotofab dry. I’ve heard nothing but good things about GPI specced setups, you’ll make great power with that.

If anything mustang would make more power in fact just with a procharger p1x a mustang 5.0 coyote will make At least 750whp stock vs camaro ss stock with a procharger p1x makes 570whp stock for both, for the camaro to even come close to that u will need to upgrade the whole fuel system on the camaro ss and run methanol or e85 and some fbo and longtube headers and intake bunch crap to get there and if u do get 750whp be prepared to grenade that lt1 motor!!! Let's not mention you need forged rods and piston aswell and u be safe to run more boost but other than that mustang coyote make way more power then LT1 PLATFORM?
@jimmyss4120 yeah. Coyote platforms are great for boost there's just no denying that. But to be fair, GM's shine NA and I think that's the beauty of both platforms.
This isn't a few bolt ons it's literally full bolt ons, with ported heads and a different cam lol
