I love this bag! I own it! But it is water resistant NOT waterproof. Walked all over italy and also spain in winter rain with this bag! Your items WILL get wet or at the minimum not lightly wet as mine did! Thats why the rain cover is important for this bag it definitely did help protect my gear but for example: when youre traveling and going on long walks and you build up sweat in your back or its raining and your back gets wet, the bag is going to absorb a lot pf it and eventually moist up some of the gear if you are not careful. Recommendation is to always keep the camera in the bottom compartment. And be mindful of what you put on the top section of the bag as it will likely get exposed. For example flashes and other electrical gear you may not have in the bottom compartment. That said…IT IS AN AMAZI G CAMERA BAG! Take it with me everywhere!
Nowadays Gorgeous bag, however, for saving money and high-quality bags, try kislux the rest of the money goes to needy students at schools to pay for their education, not much, but do help them a little.
