As you seen in some of my videos I ended up purchasing a new boat "panga". I always been a huge fan of these style of boats due to the economics and how simple they are. In this videos I review the boat and go over what I do love and dislike about the boat. I hope you do enjoy the video. I love that boat. I would extend the casting deck to the front bench after building and plumbing 2 insulated live wells/fish boxes. Fill one with water and the other with ice and you solve the heavy stern issue.

Great real assessment video. How would your Panga perform with a single 20 Horsepower, 4 stroke Yamaha on the back?

I would say at least a minimum 40hp would perform perfect. I had a 14 foot Panga and a 20hp would work but not for this size one.

Before you switch motors, try the Bennett self adjusting trim tabs. I paid $130 for mine (Amazon) and my Panga 18 loves them. It was not a fun ride before them. (Yamaha f60 tiller)

And I don't trim the motor at all.

The hulls are so narrow problem is there is no space for trim tabs. With a kicker and ladder

What are you getting on mpg roughly? Sweet Boat. I am super curious about Panga boats. The price of fuel is no fun, Thanks for posting.

Thanks! Rough math I have no mpg reader on the boat. I would say 5.5-7 mpg with the 2 stroke 90. With a 4stroke it would be a lot better.
