- So we got this 22 ft Pange Rocking a two stroke 115 Merc. from some friends of ours. (Suzy Cabanas.) The boats Previous owner was a Stunt Pilot / H.M.F.I.C of the Conch Republic Air Force General Freddy Cabanas . After Fred passed away several years back the old girl took up residence in the Shrubbery for a few years. We talked about buying it told her that we were going to get it up to snuff, Running and ripping back through the waters around Key West just like it used to. Suzy figured that if the boat went to us at the very least it would get some use and Fred would be happy that it went to someone that he knew. So we went through her with a fine toothed comb. made a few adjustments , removed and replaced some accessories, chased some wires, added a couple of batteries and a hydraulic steering, Throttle / steering cables, Fuel lines, . GPS/ Fish Finder Radioed, Stereo, Oil changes lower unit, The works. And this is her first shot back at the SALT Water in years.
First thoughts . Great Boat. Runs skinny water fast. Rough water like its calm, You don't take a beating like you would in a Carolina Skiff or any other flat bottom boat and you can pack her to the gunnels with gear. Rip through the Mangrove creeks, without getting any one you. You can make it under the low bridges at high tide and still have a few inches to spare.
She is slim, bright and she works.

Nice video, I have a small 18 foot panga here in Costa Rica
Loving the Panga brother. it is like the Multi Tool of boats. I can run it across the flats , take out out to the Reef flat calm to slightly Choppy or rocking 5-7 foot Rollers if you got the ball bag to take out on one of those days. But for the most part, I'm what you call a Pristine Day afternoon Charter kind of guy. I do like the capability to get a little sloppy if I have to. Keep rocking the Panga.

There are times that is a possibility. You gotta watch the area and listen. not just other boats , Paddle boarders, Jet skiers, Kayakers, and lets not forget the wildlife. we have Manatee's , and a Salt water croc that lives in that general area. You never know what your gonna find when you get into the bush. But one thing is true, its always an adventure ... Keep watching . We just repowered the Panga . Brand new Suzuki 140 hp, you know the meaning of BOAT right... ?

Hi mate - what is the rubber pontoon like thing you drove your boat onto at the end? It is amazing for keeping your boat dry and of the water. I am wondering if I can order this for my boat.
Back yard dry dock. Big plastic build a dock squares. Build as big as you want. Futs any boat, jet ski, skiff or Canoe. Great invention keeps the boat out of the water, high and dry. Don't have to worry about the boat sinking and prevents a lot of head ache and bottom cleaning.
great project, can I ask how much it costed in the end?
Still ongoing (Its a Boat.) Motor about $12,000, + approx another $5,000 .. The Moter is the big Expense, and the rest is luxery .LOL
