Nice!! How would you compare it to a Lowe 16” aluminum boat?

Actually I have pulled the DTX and Madmacs in the Sea of Cortez. I have caught dorado on the Madmacs, however, for the hours upon hours I have trolled Nomad lure I have to say I am disappointed. What a waste of money. You do as well or better trolling with a Rapala or Yozurri. Plus, I have had problems with Nomad lures finishes peeling, even new right out of the box.

Put nut on before cutting too.... Run nut off after you cut to clean up the thread. I think you're gonna have troubles with using those plates with the holes in them only using 1 bolt. They will slip and become loose on ya.

No need for that sealant though.... Bolts good enough

I have a Letha LTC 30 (same reel, just wider). I've had it for 5-6 years now. I use it to catch yellowfin tuna in the 40-75lb range w/ 65lb braid. It is very similar to the build style of a Shimano Torium 30. The Leath was clearly was trying to be a direct competitor to the torium and the diawa saltist, in terms of size, gear ratio, and drag output. Currently my reel works fine, but not sure if that warranty you mentioned will be able to be used. I still see these reels for sale every-once in a while on the internet, but Pure Fishing owns fin nor and the Fin Nor brand on Pure Fishing's website is only branded sunglasses and hats. No more Fin Nor reels. It appears that Pure Fishing has currently put Fin Nor out to pasture.Your reel will be good for a while, but, like me, I can't find replacement parts.

I have a 13’ high sider. I’m 245 and my son is close to the same. We managed to capsize it in slow moving tidal water on a calm day. It happened very fast. I bailed out to try to save it but it went anyway. Lost 2 rods, tackle box (probably more) to the 3’ of muck bottom . Now I only fish it solo and am very careful if I stand in it. I still like it and use it almost weekly but I would get something different if I had a do over.
