Ears are still ringing from last night. Excellent show. 30 minute metal opening was awsome. Then hypertension and some new jams. Then the hit us with Robot Stop and Gamma Knife. Then the rave started and it was killer! 10/10
Now we all get to observe what I initially said when TSC came out - great album, only thing that was a poor choice imo was the electronic drum kit. Live drums ALWAYS sound better unless you're working with specific breakbeat genres. A drummer with touch like Cavs can create dynamic drum sounds, which is wasted on a electronic kit that's meant to make the exact same noise every time.
@@antoniocanales9922 There may be differences in volume due to sensitivity of the drum stroke, but it's still playing a pre-programmed noise regardless. Just at a differing volume. The live drums are infinitely more dynamic: angle of your drum stroke, where you target your drum stroke, etc. all matters. And Cavs is good enough to take advantage of those differences to make it sound way more interesting, like in this video.
forgive me for doing a "guy who only listens to Justice when listening to electronic music" when i say this reminds me of Woman era Justice Also i cannot wait to see how they refine this song, i think it's all there, just need to get the band more in flow with each other
They’ve had so many shows to workout the kinks with their regular guitar based setup. They’re just getting started with the electronic setup and will only get better!

Suuuch a great gig. I absolutely hate bud stage for their garbage ass sound it's muddy as shit. Is it the same system since 96 or whenever it opened? No lawns so it was only stage speakers. 400s had no life but the love for gizz made it fantastic.....that and the mushrooms
