I’m still shook by this performance last night. Hypertension was off the chain. I thought they were ending the set with it… but when I heard transition into Iron Lung, I gasped out loud. Incredible way to end the show.
King gizzard blew me and my friends minds. What an incredibly talented group. Thanks and much love to all the lovely people who danced the night away with us. Iron lung was nuts and so was the 30 minute techno rave section!! ROCK ON MOFOS!!!!
I honestly don’t understand how these dudes pull this shit off with seemingly no missed notes or hiccups of any kind…it’s so chaotic and layered but they make it sound so fucking easy
Joey fucks up solo's all the time. still love them, but shit. Joey needs to drink more water and less alcohol when performing. fucking up any Petro solo is a crime against humanity.
Had no idea who these folks were before this concert. Watched stream because RUclips suggested it / it was live in my city. Wish I was in the loop sooner I would have went.
These guys tour the world on a yearly basis pretty much. No sign yet of slowing down on that front, so as long as they can keep up the relentless production/touring schedule you should have plenty of opportunities to see them live still. Absolutely a must see band!
That shot at 17:00 where Amby turns around looks like straight out of a choreographed movie, holy shit trailer shot for his biographic life story film in 20 years lol
Some of the hooks in Hypertension always give away that old-school Japanese game vibe in some ways e.g. the beginning section of the jam sequence 1:24-2:28 🤔 I'm not exactly sure, but a part of my brain seems to believe it's from Mega Man X5/6 or something else.
If you were sitting on the sidelines it was very echo-ey. They didn't have side speakers, don't think the venue was fully prepared that night. I don't blame the band for this
@@njandrews4105 yes I agree, I think all sports arenas have this issue unfortunately. Sound can only get so good in a prehistoric venue like that hahaha.
this is the kind of performance that gets brought up for years as proof that they’re the best… nobody else is doing it like this
Agreed best rock show I have seen in 30 years ❤
That transition was beautiful. Hypertension might be their absolute best live song
The River entered the chat.
I think it's seriously one of their best songs but it gets so swept under the rug because it was released on a very overlooked album from Gizztober.
@@Azure1013 I 100% overlooked this album until this year. What a shame
These lads 100% sold their souls to the devil - Best band on the planet

Iron lung kills as a closer.......sent off hovering 2 ft above the ground!!!😊

They're lizard wizards

Perks of all six of them jamming together for basically 15 years… on top of being individually highly talented
i think its hard work . and the spells of stu before the changing ritmo
inclusive quando vai pra iron lung ele vai bem na moralzinha avisar o batera. massa

Unbelievably amazing show!! So glad I got to see it live
An absolute intense rocking dimension of pure extacy. Off the known spectrum.

Duel lead guitar & vocal= GREATNESS!!!
I'm so glad more people are paying attention to hypertension and laminated denim nowadays, definitely seemed overlooked a couple years ago

Couldn't have asked for a better finale.

NO WAY, WE THREW IT
The look on Cavs face at 7:00 says it all. They know how badass they are.
I can't believe we got this beauty the one night I wasn't around for the stream

My gf went crowd surfing for the first time during Iron lung. It was amazing
Thank you!
This is my favorite flavor of Gizz
Absolute peak!
Awesome way to end a show. When the drums switch and you realize Iron Lung is up next...sheesh

Chunky Shrapnel 2
Watching this live made me lose my flippin mind

In latter half of Hypertension, it almost sounds like they're teasing a bit of Out of the Blue by George Harrison
❤
I knew it was gonna be a banger as soon as I saw Stu was barefoot
Im so drunk

Laminated Denim is the only album of theirs that I never gave a shot, how stupid of me.
I was there. Did anybody else there think that the sound was kind of crappy ?

@@ZacTBH oh I don’t blame anyone. I just think the venue isn’t top-tier for music performances.. don’t get me wrong. I still enjoyed myself.
