This is a legendary movie, I first watched it back in highschool and changed my views on a lot of things plus its probably one of the only Bollywood films that I remember and recommend to anyone that just wants to have a laugh. Seeing this makes me want to watch it again with someone who hasnt watched it
In India it's common to have arranged marriage and that guy was like a blind date for her so it isn't like she and he were in relationship and they planned to marriage it's just an arranged marriage in which parents decides their groom or bride for wedding
