Thank you sir. I don’t know why I’m so drawn but I know I need to go there, even live there eventually. Because I’m so tired of living here, I just want to live like those of the past.

Can you name one aleka or abuna?
If Ethiopians have built that then you don’t see mud and straw built houses everywhere in the country.
This is the highest stage of designing and masonry for it’s time.

    • @PAULLONDEN
      @PAULLONDEN 5 лет назад

*@dazebhen1* Ok .....the whites know how to steal....but "credit" ...? It's just how you look at it .....most religion is instated by rulers to appease the restless sheeple masses..... the Ethiopian rulers were not different...
That whole bloodsoaked bible is one of the most depressing man written bullcrap ......to make the restless masses believe their reward comes after death, , while the rulers lived it up and had their party in the here and now.........
No wonder the white European popes took it over from these peoples and recognised a good scam when they saw one.....☝🏿👼🏿
I feel for the people who had to carve these churches out of mountain rock.....Praise Jéééésus.....
This is a fascinating place for well off tourists to see.....but the contrast between the have and the have nots is rather extreme here , don't you think ? Thanks to the military regime that rules this nation for eons....
The BBC type propaganda narrator is rather special.....hired by the Ethiopian tourist board ofcourse...
For these people who are so proud of lions it's rather sad wow they house them in the Addis Abeba "lion zoo" and the entrance to the nature reserve.... 👎🦁37:57

Ethiopia is an ancient country whose unique cultural heritage, rich history and remarkable biodiversity are reflected in a tally of nine UNESCO World Heritage Sites - more than any other country in Africa. Within its borders, you'll find the world's fourth-holiest Islamic city, along with as the oldest continuously-occupied town south of the Sahara. Compelling antiquities include the mediaeval rock-hewn churches of Lalibela and Gheralta, ruined palaces and temples dating back 3,000 years, the magnificent 17th century castles of Gondar, and the oldest human fossils unearthed anywhere on the planet. Add to this the beautiful Simien and Bale Mountains, the spectacular volcanic landscapes of the Danakil Depression, and a wealth of mammals and birds found nowhere else in the world, and it's little wonder that Ethiopia has become the most attractive and popular emergent tourist destination in Africa.
Ethiopia’s fascinating and enigmatic recorded history stretches back 3,000 years to the reign of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon.
Ethiopia's rich biodiversity is reflected in a varied flora and fauna embracing more than 50 endemic species of mammals and birds, ranging from the iconic Ethiopian wolf to the spectacular Raspoli’s turaco.
A stable and peaceful democracy since 1994, Ethiopia Today is a federal state whose progressive economic policies are reflected is a post-millennial average annual growth rate of around 10 percent.
A unique musical heritage and cuisine, together with an ancient coffee culture and thriving arts and crafts scene, ensure that the Ethiopian lifestyle has much to offer curious visitors.

it was all true and agreeable until "A stable and peaceful democracy since 1994, Ethiopia Today is a federal state whose progressive economic policies are reflected is a post-millennial average annual growth rate of around 10 percent." so u must be out of Ethiopia since the Zague dynasty yet u wrote this 2 month ago.
what Ethiopia lacks has never been history or legacy it's always been progress and future away from it .this is due to an overwhelming nostalgia and nationalism based on a medieval mentality of making justice to the past historical events which took place in a nation of civilisation and thriving and ambitious RAS and ATSES who crafted The Ethiopia we never understood in her inner essence .

The Ethiopian history is mainly concentrated on the northern parts of the country which was mostly dominated by the Christians but Ethiopia is one of the countries enriched with Islamic history too which dates back to the 7th century of welcoming companions of the prophet Muhammed and the then king is known for saving these refugees from z Quraish attack. Ethiopia is one of the few countries mentioned both in the holy Quran and bible. lots of amazing history had also existed in the Eastern and Western parts of the country. In fact, One of the few countries in the world where Muslims and Christians live together.
MUCH LOVE TO ETHIOPIA AND ETHIOPIAN!

Africa has a large quantity of natural resources, including diamonds, sugar, salt, gold, iron, cobalt, uranium, copper, bauxite, silver, petroleum and cocoa beans, but also woods and tropical fruits. Having a low human density, for a long period of time Africa has been colonized by more dynamic groups, exploiting African resources. Some economists[1] have talked about the 'scourge of raw materials', large quantities of rare raw materials putting Africa under heavy pressures and leading to wars and slow development. Despite these abundance of natural resources, claims suggest that many Western nations like the United States, Canada, Australia, France and the United Kingdom as well as emerging economic powerhouses like China often exploit Africa's natural resources today, causing most of the value and money from the natural resources to go to the West and East Asia rather than Africa, further causing the poverty in Africa

Ethiopian is half muslin and this has influenced it history and cultures in vital ways...Ignoring that is just stupid. Even I, someone raised in the Ethiopian Orthodox faith, can see that... These clearly bias retelling of history are annoying and work to silence and belittle certain people.
I don't even know why am responding to someone who calls themselves the 'troll god' anyway...

Ka Ge that is a LIE!! Not really. The Saudi Arabian organization islam was brought to Ethiopia by the Turkish puppet Mohamed gragn in the 16th century. It does not have a place in Ethiopian history. You are a muslim. Don't lie.

The more accurate and historically correct definition of the Horn of Africa is just the area which is shaped as such, that being somalia. Stop spreading this commonly repeated misconception in relation to Ethiopia.

I love this country. I visited there and stayed about 4 months. The video is wonderful to see, all the locations filmed are wonderful but the narrator has a LOT of inaccuracies in his tale.
a LOT of mis representations . do this video again , but get a narrator who has studied Ethiopian history, not the European version of Ethiopian history.

Thank you Expoza Travel for your great presentation and for exposing the beauty of my native and blessed land - ETHIOPIA. Both science (Lucy 3.5 million years old) and the Holy Bible (Religion) reveal that, Ethiopia is indeed the cradle of humanity and the very birthplace of the first and most archaic civilization of the world. God's own prophet Moses the Israelite was taught and mentored by none other than the Ethiopian priest Jethro (YOTAR) and was married to one of his seven daughters called Zipporah and had two sons from her. The Holy Bible states: "And the second river is called Ghion and it flows through out Ethiopia" (Genesis 2:13). Before, the 180 nations of the world were formed, Ethiopia's national boundary were well defined and firmly established without a single bloodshed by God Himself and set apart for the Ethiopians. In 1000BC, When Queen Sheba ruled Ethiopia, she was the 42nd Queens of Ethiopia in that particular line of Dynasty while King Solomon was the 3rd King of Israel. You can figure out for yourself of Ethiopia's antiquity. When one thinks of Ethiopia, one is naturally forced to think of as the beginning of time itself. God made Ethiopia to be part of the "Garden of Eden" and its mighty Ghion (Blue Nile) river to water the Garden of Eden - the Divine Park of God which was made for Adam and Eve. The ancient Greeks like Homer also called Ethiopia as "Land of great warriors, brave tall people with smooth skins and woolly hair, Land of gods". The ancient Greeks believed that their 12 gods (including Zeus...) rest and play in Ethiopia. The ancient Egyptians also believed that Ghion river and Ethiopia is land of god and life. As evidence by the Holy Bible, What is ultimately REAL and TANGIBLE is that, Ethiopia is a Living Testimony to God's Truth. May God bless Ethiopia and the Ethiopians and the world for ever!
