She saw water fall from the sky for the first time in her life. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed.

Know the value of items there and how to convert your money, alot of the stores dont have prices and some will charge more to people they can tell aren't from there.
Chile is one of the most beautiful countries as far as the land goes, but there is also alot of poverty and crime, so just be ready for that. Also the best driving of all the Latin American countries, in fact they drive better then Texas and New Jersey, but traffic moves differently there, so also be aware of that. Oh... and the Coca-Cola is all bland there, the Chinese restaurants there sell something, but it doesn't taste like Chinese food, and nothing "Spicy" there is spicy. Enjoy your trip, I hope you like speedbumps, and make sure you have a flashlight, because power goes out of it rains.
