Stuntmen: The Invisible Artists

Stunt actors have been a relevant part of the film industry since it began over a hundred years ago. As the films we watch rapidly evolve over the years, so does the industry and the workers behind it. However, somehow during all the chaos, stunt actors were left behind.
Stunt actors are severely underrepresented within the industry. And with this under-representation comes an array of issues, from the drastically different regulations on becoming a stuntman to the devastating mistakes on set that could’ve been avoided. Come join us as we discuss why stunt performers are underrepresented in our industry, how the industry has changed and what YOU as an audience can do about it.
