IPHONE in the MICROWAVE? | Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Technology
Obsessive Compulsive disorder is a mental disorder that can lead individuals to have unwanted thoughts, doubts, and anxieties. To alleviate them, they engage in repetitive, and what may seem to others as unusual, behaviour. For example, if someone had cybersecurity concerns, they might microwave their phone to make sure its data is destroyed.
As my brother suffers from OCD, I wanted to make this documentary to explore OCD and its relationship in modern technology and to understand what it looks like, feels like, and how it can be managed. And therefore, learn how I can better understand, and support my brother.

WHY Albert Einstein might be WRONG! | Testing the Theory of General Relativity

Albert Einstein’s famous theory of general relativity has endured for more than 100 years and accurately describes how gravity works in the Universe. However, upon the 1998 discovery of the accelerating Universe, a cosmological problem arose. There was no matter or energy in Einstein’s theory that would make the Universe accelerate. Some theorists suggest the acceleration could be explained by ...

This may be two years late but I came across this video and it resonates with me. I have a similar compulsion involving tech and microwaves. It's nonsensical but the thoughts are to destroy the things that I feel would add stress on my life without. Phone, ipad, etc. I'm currently in therapy trying to work on how to deal with it so I don't have to be on guard all the time. I unplug the microwave anytime I'm not using it because I fear I will throw my phone in there and turn it on to "check" if it would still work after the fact. Nonsensical I know, but that's what OCD can do to people. Love the video and thank you for sharing your family's experience

recent studies show majority males and minority females view women as body parts when they showed slides of males and females in parts women were tagged fastest and more accurately then males in parts and when shown full women males struggled most they also struggled to identify facial expression meanings. We also have the 20/90 effect if women are talking or present or even in the background 20% of the time the audience thinks they're 90% of the speaking roles, the back ground characters, or present in the film. We also see how male gamers whine that a normal woman is ugly and riot they calm down only if she seems sexy males also more commonly state how sexy women are the only women due respect yet this vocalization doesn't match reality as when they get a sexy woman in life they do not respect her. Yet in media it makes males respect the character more if she's sexy.

Proof Relativity is an optical illusion: According to Relativity, two inertial moving observers will see each others space contract and time dilate. This is a complete contradiction and a physical impossibility if the effects are real. Objects and the passage of time can not be both small and large at the same time. The only possible explanation is that the observed effects are an optical illusion. Any theory based on Special Relativity, such as General Relativity, must also have the same problem. Hi my name is Dr William Walker and I am a PhD physicist and have been investigating this topic for 30 years. It has been known since the late 1700s by Simone LaPlace that nearfield Gravity is instantaneous by analyzing the stability of the orbits of the planets about the sun. This is actually predicted by General Relativity by analyzing the propagating fields generated by an oscillating mass. In addition, General Relativity predicts that in the farfield Gravity propagates at the speed of light. The farfield speed of gravity was recently confirmed by LIGO. Recently it has been shown that light behaves in the same way by using Maxwell's equations to analyze the propagating fields generated my an oscillating charge. For more information search: William Walker Superluminal. This was experimentally confirmed by measuring radio waves propagating between 2 antennas and separating the antennas from the nearfield to the farfield, which occurs about 1 wavelength from the source. This behavior of gravity and light occurs not only for the phase and group speed, but also the information speed. This instantaneous nature of light and gravity near the source and been kept from the public and is not commonly known. The reason is that it shows that both Special Relativity and General Relativity are wrong! It can be easily shown that Instantaneous nearfield light yields Galilean Relativity and farfield light yields Einstein Relativity. This is because in the nearfield, gamma=1since c= infinity, and in the farfield, gamma= the Relativistic gamma since c= farfield speed of light. Since time and space are real, they can not depend on the frequency of light used. This is because c=wavelength x frequency, and 1 wavelength = c/frequency defines the nearfield from the farfield. Consequently Relativity is an optical illusion. Objects moving near the speed of light appear to contract in length and time appears to slow down, but it is just what you see using farfield light. Using nearfield light you will see that the object has not contracted and time has not changed. For more information: Search William Walker Relativity. Since General Relativity is based on Special Relativity, General Relativity must also be an optical illusion. Spacetime is flat and gravity must be a propagating field. Researchers have shown that in the weak field limit, which is what we only observe, General Relativity reduces to Gravitoelectromagnetism, which shows gravity can be modeled as 4 Maxwell equations similar in form to those for electromagnetic fields, yielding Electric and Magnetic components of gravity. This theory explains all gravitational effects as well as the instantaneous nearfield and speed of light farfield propagating fields. So gravity is a propagating field that can finally be quantized enabling the unification of gravity and quantum mechanics. The current interpretation if quantum mechanics makes no sense, involving particles that are not real until measured, and in a fuzzy superposition of states. On the other hand, the Pilot Wave interpretation of Quantum Mechanics makes makes much more sense, which says particles are always real with real positions and velocities. The particles also interact with an energetic quantum field that permeates all of space, forming a pilot wave that guides the particle. This simpler explainatiin explains all known quantum phenomena. The only problem is that the Pilot Wave is known to interact instantaneously with the particle and all other particles, and this is completely incompatible with Relativity, but is compatible with Galilean Relativity. So due to the evidence presented here, this is no longer a problem, and elevates the Pilot Interpretation to our best explanation of Quantum Mechanics RUclips presentation of above argument: ruclips.net/video/sePdJ7vSQvQ/видео.html Paper it is based on: William D. I just want to say. Black Widow is named after the black widow spider who uses their appeal to attract and kill male spiders. That is exactly what Natasha Romanoff does. She is a russian spy who uses her physicality to trap males. Yes it was good to see in her solo film more focus on her as a person but she was never a side character in Avengers. She was an avenger.

"Narrowly focused and obsessively consumed about achieving one thing". I think I got the scholarship the same year as you, after talking with many Fulbrighters some of them make it look like something "really easy", which may be for them... however for many, or at least for me... I also became narrowly focused and obsessively consumed... which came with a lot of anxiety and pushing myself through. For many years I didn't apply to Fulbright because people told me the scholarship wasn't for me and I didn't have what it takes, even a week before applying someone told me that. By the time I was applying all the doubts came, it was painful, really painful to go through the application process, and by the time I was at the door ready to get into the interview... I was shaking... when asked how I was doing I said, "I'm really nervous" followed by a laugh.. which broke the ice and was the start of the best interview of my life... That interview taught me that all the things for many years I thought made me less, like coming from a small town or not having had access to the best education growing up, were the things that made me who I am, that was my platform and showcased how despite everything I've been able to use what I've got to move forward. There's no feeling like knowing you were selected for one of the very few spots among hundreds of others applying, I will never forget that call and how high I was jumping out of happiness.

6:30 Not a fan of these examples; HQ is a character for women, always has been. Halle Berry Catwoman may have been a bad but that movie was bad in just every way and isn't worth analyzing. As for old Lara I never saw any problems with her other than she's probably a mary stu, or really a gary stu considering she's quite masculine in her interests and abilities. New lara is more feminine but also one of the biggest examples of ludonarrative dissonance. What you said about Black Widow is more or less well known and agreed upon. She was side character in most of the franchise and most of her early scenes where just her being hot around other characters. It took them way too long to make her more than just fan service. She should have been a bigger character and had her own movie happen like 5 years earlier. ScarJo even already had lead actress experience for the job.

Dear Karl, far more carbon dioxide (CO2) is emitted into the atmosphere from the world's oceans than anything emitted by human activity. I do not understand your concerns over CO2. Firstly, there is the logarithmic diminution of the radiative forcing of CO2 (as acknowledged by the IPCC Third Assessment Report, Chapter Six, section 6-3-4), which shows that the more CO2 you release into the troposphere the less effect it has. Almost all the warming produced is with the first 100 parts per million (ppm) CO2. Any added warming from CO2 is negligible. That is why there has not been a runaway global warming in the past when atmospheric CO2 has been at much higher levels. Secondly, over the past 528 million years since the Cambrian Explosion the average tropospheric level of CO2 has been 2,000 ppm. In fact at times it has been as high as 4,000 ppm with no CO2-H2O positive feedback loop. Thirdly, there is little to no historic correlation between CO2 levels and tropospheric temperature, beyond that which might be expected due to the laws of probability: correlation is not causation. Fourthly, the oft-quoted "97% of climate scientists" line is based on the percentage of "climate scientists" who believe the earth's troposphere is warming. It should be 100%, as no leading climate scientists deny the warming. The troposphere has been warming since the low temperature point of the Dalton Minimum. In fact their was a faster rate of warming between 1720 and 1780 than at any time since. Fifthly, while the level of atmospheric CO2 has climbed exceptionally quickly and while much of this increase has been due to human activity, there is no reason to believe that this will have any detrimental effect on earth's climate. In fact plants will love the extra food. BTW: Be careful when you hear the oft quoted "97 percent". 97 is the highest prime number when you cannot achieve 100%+ yield. As you would know, prime numbers seem more random and hence more plausible. If you want something to sound believably big, go for 97%. E.g. 97% fat free. Cheers.

Of course, he was wrong. Thank you! No one has proved GR directly. What bends is light, not space. Massive objects have ionospheres that cause light to refract, which therefore does so indirectly due to gravity. GR should not be understood as space bending or expanding, since it causes fatal logical contradictions, but should be understood as a mathematical method that allows us to think about space as if it were curved, but actually describes the curvature of energy in spacetime due to massive objects, not the curvature of spacetime. It is not even possible to test that space bends; so, it is not even a scientific statement, let alone all the contradictions it creates. Another thing. The universe is not accelarating nor expanding. Many clusters of galaxies in the universe are moving away from a common center, but that's all. Some galaxies are even moving closer to each other!

Yeah, and sometimes it's like the camera is literally looking at the characters like a dude, focusing on the female character's butts or whatever instead of their faces. It's gross. And yeah, those characters will just be love interests or props for the dude's story, and they don't get a lot of characterisation on their own. Personally I think it really takes away from some love stories, because the character's don't connect because one half of the relationship is being treated like an object and not a person. That said, the camera/narrative doesn't look at women the way all dudes do. The "male gaze" only applies to some men. Tbh, the way some men are written is completely dehumanising, and I think that media can be having a negative effect on guys as well. When you look at the state of male mental health, yeah, we're clearly doing something _wrong._

A lot of the music is very beautiful and packed with emotion and specific "atmospheres" if that makes sense. My favorite stage has always been stage 3. It creates a very strong mental image for me: Someone standing in front of a house on fire in the dead of a cold, winter night. The house is their childhood home. All they can do is stand there and watch it burn away as they recall old, faded memories from their time living there.
