Local giga sweat here, had my best/funnest days of dark and darker the past 2 days and I’ll be playing until wipe happens whenever I’m not working, it’s taken me quite a long time to get the kits I’ve wanted to run and hope they keep wipes around this same length to give me a chance at building my kits again

What they don’t get about nerfing Rogues is, the more they nerf us, the more annoying we have to play to win. This cycle will not end with us not being an annoyance to the game. Either buff us properly or this will only continue

Its wild playing my rogue and sitting in the same spot for 100 seconds with imp stealth and purple invis pot, and a 3man b-lines to my room, and runs directly at me and connects directly for the 1 shot headshot with me not having moved for at least 80 seconds. Its every other round. Literally impossible to keep kits because people are so afraid of landmine rogs that they download their wins, and hacks for this game are literally free on that one hack forum. Completely comfortable with another dev taking the idea and doing it better. I think ill wait till then
I wonder if they're waiting to wipe to see how bad gear balance becomes based on how long the wipe cycle is. The laggy servers aren't 100% their fault , i wouldn't be shocked if they announced that they've been under constant cyber attack since before the nexon incident
Im still waiting for the announced big balance changes they were gonna try out between season end and wipe, except there are none so far. Makes me kinda worried the wipe wont help much with the declining playerbase. If they cant figure out the balancing soon the, wipe or any new content wont help in the long run.
Was actually a lot fun early days... 95% PDR, 150 damage with daggers, 230 damage with longbows, 12 sec haste/ invis wiz, early 10 songs bard and the 80 damage franciscas and 1 shot with achilles. Damn, we need all this back.
Most ppl experiencing lags are probably of the Pacific-Oceania zone and in the US who still have sh1tty IT infrastructure unless you pay them extra -capitalism welcome. Is mostly bc your countries give bad IT, or the routes, not Ironmace's fault. In Europe Frankfurt servers where people take their jobs seriously I never had serious lag problems.

I have no faith in Iron Mace to deliver a good product. The devs are terrible game designers - regardless of their technical skills. The swords can't block (unless it's longsword) and every fight is a measurement of who has mastered the janky mess of a combat system they created. Combat is typically lame and unfun forms of skill expression. In a world where games like Mount & Blade, Mordhau, Chivalry, For Honor, Dark Souls, all of these fluid and fun medieval sword and board games exist and yet they are soooo pompous and certain of their "vision" (lol) that they INSIST they won't add proper blocking and parrying to ensure "fights end quickly" why do they need to end quickly? Oh because of the fortnite storm wall? Why do we have a fortnite storm wall? Because the devs are unoriginal and copy success they see elsewhere (queue their law suit lmao). You might be a fanboy reading this and thinking, "Oh Styx, cmon the blocking is new and unique it's PHYSICS based!" Yeah well their physics simulation and calculations feel like dogshit and are janky. You may be a REALLY big fanboy reading this and say, "get good!". I was good at this game. And it wasn't fun. The extraction gameplay loop is ADDICTING. Players like to hide wealth and exert their will on other players (pvp) - that is what is fun, this combat in a vacuum is NOT fun. The enemies are HP sponges - braindead- and the meta is to cheese them and poke them down from attop furniture and kite kite kite kite instead of roleplaying and properly getting into a fight. I LOVE the active abilities and the hardcore feel, but these guys seriously can't be trusted to deliver FUN which is what games are all about. Nerf Nerf Nerf, bad balances and shitty seasonal updates - lol. They are feeding us slop. And because they emulated tarkov, and few other people are serving up the extraction formula- we are forced to eat up the slop. Fuck iron mace /rant over

The game definitely should've wiped a while ago. Player count has been dwindling for months. Wipe always brings back a significant number of players. Unfortunately, Ironmace just isn't pushing content and updates like they used to. During playtests, there was so much more drive. Constant updates, extremely transparent, etc. It feels like they have lost.. something. Ever since Early Access, the game has felt like it's going downhill slowly. Frost cave map was a welcome change, but they didn't learn from their GC mistakes, so the mob density was extremely high for no reason. Still, a nice content update. Again, though, not much has happened since then. I'm not really sure what it is, but the game just doesnt feel nearly as fun as it used to feel. I dunno, I just hope wipe revives the game. 😊

Again, though, not much has happened since then. I'm not really sure what it is, but the game just doesnt feel nearly as fun as it used to feel. I dunno, I just hope wipe revives the game. 😊
