They did nor delete old maps for new one, they just need time to remake them for the new engine. The old maps will be coming out sometime this year. Also solo necro is a buff, the only ones who would cry about the change are those who abused solo necro for deranking.

yes they want to refine the old maps which takes time, so we can learn the new map while they work on the old ones, only thing i dont get is the event lasts for 50 days while they said after 30 days the old maps come back???
Love your work! The new songs for the game are amazing but the fact that you use battlefield 1 soundtrack was well done I enjoy both of those games to this day!
My biggest complaint about the game is the "after banishment map freeze glitch". that forces me to taskmanage the game closed and hope my hunter is still alive when I load back in.
@@LaTrond Yo, I think I found a way to prevent the glitch. I was looking around in the options, lowering some of my graphics settings a notch, when I found that you can set it to windowed fullscreen. and I haven't gotten it since. also I turned off motion blur but I don't think that was part of it.

Saw the update pop up the other day on steam, thought it was just a new season or whatnot. Glad I saw this video which actually let me know its a complete overhaul, will have to give it a go again. Been a while since I tuned into your streams but I have been lurking and watching most of your DaD videos.
Every single thing about this update has been great so far, apart from the new UI taking more clicks to navigate and a few frame drops in certain parts of the new map. The sealed cache is back, new traits were added, and weekly challenges carry over from week to week instead of disappearing, just to name a few. I was afraid bullet drop was going to be too heavy to be enjoyable, but most weapons remain perfectly accurate out to their old effective headshot ranges without a lot of deviation. I'm thankful that there's a distance estimate in the bottom right corner of the screen showing the new effective range anytime you ADS with a particular gun. The only weapon that suffers pretty heavily from bullet drop changes is the Martini Henry, but luckily they added HV ammo to help lessen the blow. Also I never anticipated a buff for the spyglass with its new rangefinder capabilities when pinging with it, it rocks. Lastly, RIP electric lamp.
The UI is amazing, I LOVE spending a day figuring out what everything does and having to click 2 or 3 times just to go back to the page i was just on, quality of life right there lol but yeah i never fully got into the game originally, i liked it but didnt love it, im finding myself enjoying it alot more now
I wrote this video and edited over three days before I uploaded. I made the same jokes on stream when the update first dropped. It's not exactly a ground breaking joke saying Germans are supposed to be efficient. Now as an Italian bloke, it's time for me to go smash another cannoli.
Did not play it before and just started yesterday, because a friend begged me to play it and bought it for me... It is really fun and we had a blast yesterday, but the UI is really something else. I did not know what to do with those healthbar selection and i wasted 10 or 12 points before i realized it will take away my "skillpoints". It is overwhelming and not in order, it was really irritating to me. But still fun game, bit confusing with all the skills, hunters, equipment and so on, but the actual gameplay is FANTASTIC! Menus: C and Gameplay: A+!
Agree about the UI the old one needed a bit of clearing up but its a mess now, the map is superb although I have noticed a lot more 'campers' hiding in the mountains, for some reason last night my mate couldn't spawn with his explosive ammo even though it was in his inventory it was just buckshot and I had a few times where being up of a roof the texture were disappearing and I could see into the building, hoping some hot fixes will be incoming very soon. what area servers do you play on? got an Aussie mate who want to play more of this I'm sure he would play more if he could get on local servers, atm if we play we use West Coast US as I'm in the UK
The new UI needs a couple of iterations (hopefully in due time). Its unfortunate that a highly anticipated improved UI turned out to be the reason for the review bombs. The game itself is so special.
The UI shouldn't be a problem for too long. Crytek are one of the few developers that actively listen to and communicate with their community. The review bombing is just a symptom from entitlement that we gamers all suffer with, the UI isn't the game guys 😂
Not only the UI, They fixed the necro revive issue and then proceed to increase the burn rate so now its just a flare pistol camp fest lol and they removed the ability to put single charm on multiple guns which was a thing before this update
@@Alelogin oh definitely but at least you could make a play to save teammates if you were a little out but if im not sniffing my teammates bum, They get burnt out completely or just leave which I dont blame them
@@Mrxlongshot I'm really not a big fan of faster burning or increased trap dmg. We will see how it plays out. I think traps are a cool unique thing, but the gunplay should be the focus.
I just started playing this week. I am like .5 stars. My kd is horrendus but the game is so fun! Before Siege was my favorite game now this might take number one. I just hope I can get over the learning curve quickly.
correction , the alt f4 was always the only correct way to exit this game, after you got frustrated so that when you came back you were welcomed by "hunter died" to get you going for another session
i see so many people complain about the UI and hardly a damn soul say why its bad. it does suck in a nice few ways dont get me wrong but "game breaking" (what most people call it) must be really hard to please if the UI is game breaking for you.
Without writing an essay about it ill give you an anecdote: my crew have a friend that plays the game on and off and he has never been the sharpest crayon right. after 1 hour of him mostly messing with the UI he gets to the point that the next time we asked him to join for some games he had to say and i qoute "I have to see if i have it installed (why would it not be?) cause the ui". our buddy was so dejected and lost with that nightmare that he was hedging on deleting the game off his PC straight up. i think most people dont get into the specifics cause they really dont need to, if you use it yourself for 2 minutes youd know, there are so many effing problems with it both design and technical.

Ever since the update, i dropped from 5 star to 3 star. There's not a 50/50 chance of killing my enemy anymore, but a 25/75 chance. My skills have gotten worse somehow, my map knowledge of course sucks since its new. I keep dying in the dumbest ways like getting fanned and survive just to run into a grunt that kills me, or getting hive attacked when low on health, or getting flanked when i'm in the bottom of the valley and two teams are ontop of the hills between me.. Hell even the days i clutched, it's been me getting 2/3 kills in a row. I miss the times when i could get 7/9 kills in one round, now? I just die over and over and play with even worse-than-before-randoms. Yes, somehow randoms have gotten worse... I might quit the game altough i love it, i've just gotten a huge skill issue at this point

I’ve never been a 6 star. 5 star always, but my buddies were 6 stars so I played in 6 star lobbies or I played when I played solo I played in 4/5 star lobbies. I always got wrecked in the 6 star lobbies and was constantly relying on my gang to win gun fights. Now, I’m 6 stars and destroying these other 6 stars. They honestly feel like 4/5 stars with their movement and accuracy.

AND the map crash bug(not sure if they FINALLY fixed it yet or not lol) are absolutely atrocious and made me not want to play for a little bit though. Mainly the open map crashing bug. That shit was game breaking to say the least lol.

yeah, its bad when you need to equip all 4 consumables or tools, best way around it is to just use preset loadouts for tools and consumables.
And if you have old lody rdy and you buy items if you have like 2x stamina on it it will not equip it ...
Is the resolution low just because its a twitch vod? Even on 1080p it's still somewhat muddy.
