There was a time of my life when i was a teenager i was about to get a tattoo in my arm of this man. Years later I felt stupid about it till I saw this video and I can't help to feel "maybe i really connected to whatever this guy was expressing " i adore the way he does music
I am at that time in my life right now, at 20 years old. I've had many heroes; people that I put on pedestals. A couple of years ago the two people I idolized the most in my life destroyed my mental health. From that point on, everything I felt strongly about in the world became lesser and I was numb. I became confused at deciphering whether the people I believed in/aligned with were genuine or if it was just a matter of time before they would do something bad. I never felt the desire to permanently put my influences on my body because deep down I knew that things never amount to as much as you think they do. And like you and everyone else, I was worried that years later I'd be embarrassed at my younger self looking at not the physical tattoo that I got, but it's different meaning, either bad, or none at all. Simultaneously while I was healing, I was subconsciously minimizing all the things I felt significantly about, and the things contributing to my new, stronger self. I've been listening to John's music for a very long time, since I was a child and I've had countless moments where I thought to myself, I'm feeling that feeling again. The other day I heard a song from SCWP called In Relief for the first time, and it was the first time that connection became even more than emotional, it was spiritual. The connection is unwavering and I believe it transcends anything you could feel "stupid" about. I'll probably get that tattoo.
It’s like when you are existing within an existence that isn’t really reflective of the existence that you envisioned as a child. But will as an old person.
Real words of wisdom! In my opinion, that is the way to authentically create music! But this goes beyond music! It is about the essence of life and our existence! Thanks for this very inspiring lesson!

He's a great human being. I love what he says.
This is the most significant spiritual statement I listened to for a long time. Thanks, John and all the best.
Perfect to watch right before bed
Calming
Blessed be ♥️
love when he talks about looking at disadvantages differently
Real words of wisdom! In my opinion, that is the way to authentically create music! But this goes beyond music! It is about the essence of life and our existence! Thanks for this very inspiring lesson!
Dylanique all over this to the point of not straying but returning to his central theme again and again. And delivered with a clear head. There's just no escaping nature. Luv it.
This is amazing I’m so glad that it showed up on my recommended I’ve always listen to RHCP but never knew anything about the members. I’ve been experiencing some creative channeling like that too and want to make more content talking about it. Thanks for doing this!
John knows what’s up. Nicely made film ❤️
No one has inspired me more then John Frusciante. What a beautiful human being.
I agree
I've always focused more on the piece of music itself and how it makes me feel than the artist/filter that lets it out and puts it together.
I love you, John Frusciante...
Entertainment makes you forget. art makes you remember. great art makes you remember a time and place you have never been and that is how you will know what you are looking at when you see it.
Wow. Creative people are the way they are for a reason. Amazing stuff.
Oh Bless this man. He speaks the truth. AMEN
Wow, so far beyond his time. Thank you.

To everyone watching this, pray and agree: Dear Lord, May my life be filled with thanksgiving and praise for your countless blessings. Give me assurance that you supply my every need through your generosity. May grace, mercy, and peace be with me this day and always. Amen
Thank you...that was absolutely beautiful...

Everyone knows the Chilli Peppers. I never knew much about John but he is an inspiration and so grounded and fair in all his comments and beliefs. Can't fault any of his logic. Great guy and great thinker!!
He’s tapped in to a knowing and he’s absolutely right!!
One of the true "born of music"
Great video - thank you ☺👍
For nobody being able to put it into words, he sure put it into some beautiful words..
Wow he really nailed it bless his heart
i love life so much more since you arrived. thank you john
That was beautiful. Thank you for bringing Frusciante back into my horizon!
True and beautiful words by this love of human being.
Thank you. I needed this today.
A truly humble artist is one that can have so much "success" and yet still understand this and live by it.
The real great ones seem to always do, maybe its a precondition as well...
When you start taking credit for it, is possibly when you start losing the magic touch...
For sure. The spiritual insights and guidance are as powerful as the music. He is a blessing 🌅
Great clip -thanks ! 🙌🏼
