I had to see this captivating varNam thrice before I could venture to write my comment. 7 x Wow! One Wow for each and everyone of these talented dancers! One good deed deserves another! So I am going to write about each one of them. Harini Priya: True to her name she is a doe-eyed beauty. When she flutters her eyelids the whole world seems to flicker along with her eyes! She knows how best to use her eyes to enhance her amazing dancing skills! Vishwasree: She looks like Kutty Padmini, dances like nAtya peroLi Padmini and is a mini Sivaji Ganesan as well. Her impersonation of Shakuni, Duryodhana, Dushasana, Yudhisthira, pAnchAli and Krishna is mind blowing. Tears welled up in my eyes when she was fighting not to get disrobed in Duryodhana's durbar filled with spineless men - who lacked the courage to defend a helpless woman. Sai Smriti Suresh: Her role of Krishna begging for the PuNya of KarNa when he is about to breathe his last is sincere to the core. She has a solemn face and plays this serious role effortlessly and earnestly. Krithika Krishna: So joyful and naughty in her movements and is a show stealer while imitating Krishna. Her exuberance of lively mischief portraying Krishna is captivating and colorful. Jayashri: The first girl I have seen with the much praised 'neerOttam' in her lovely eyes. Is she shedding tears or do we imagine the tears to be there... I can't say for sure. But it fits perfectly for the role of a lovelorn young nAyika calling out for Krishna. Sahana Dinesh: She can portray the aanandham of the gopis so convincingly and enthusiastically. We feel the joy felt by those gopis just by watching her joyful dancing. Nishkala: She reminds me of the beautiful and talented Jayalalitha in her teens. She has such a pleasant face and ability to portray complex emotions attractively. Inference: Constant listening to songs and dancing has imparted a divinity to the looks of these girls. One look at them is enough to prove that they're not just the ordinary girls we see everywhere. Special thanks: The musicians made the story telling elaborate by their expert support on their instruments. I wonder how many hundreds of Songs are used for these dances and how one singer knows them all!
👏👏👏👌👌👍👍👍💪💪💪WHAT AN EXCELLENT COMMENT I HAD NEVER COME ACROSS.REALLY WONDERFUL.This program also wonderful&very nice.💐💐💐💐🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏Really much talented &dedicated dancers. Hats off to all of them.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 We are familiar with the SDN Octet's excellent dancing skills (Mathe Malaydwaja, Sadaksharam, Nrithyathi Nrithyathi, Chandra Chuda, Ananda KoothAdinAr etc., come to mind) and in this performance they showcase their breathtaking Abhinaya skills 💖💖💖Just WOW! We felt like the characters portrayed throughout the performance, feeling all their emotions, crying at times, joyful at others and mostly longing for Kanna! Like some other viewer commented in another performance, how do you tell between juniors and seniors? To Harinipriya, Vishwasree, Sai Smriti, Krithika, Jayashree, Sahana, and Nishkala -- Wonderful performance 💖💖💖 You did full justice to Guru Smt. Sheela's choreography and Bhava Gana Gandharva Sri. Srikanth's rendition. Stay Blessed 🙏
there is not one dance video that you posted did I watch without tears rolling down my cheeks...be that the choreography , the dancers, the expressions, the lyrics, the singer, .... list goes on and on... what an excellent team effort...God bless all:) keep up this divine path and take us all with you... Lord Sree Krishna bless all :)
Wow , awesome , what a song perfomence and choreography....... the words of the song made me mesmerised and fell in tears...... the first entry with harinie priya is awesome her expression are up to the mark and her hand postiotions awesome, and next viswaswari she is very machured in dancing her , the way of expression is nice , sai smiriti is good at her foot work as well as expression ,she dances gracefully , krithika is dancing with flexibility , jayshri is god at her eye movements, harinie priya is awesome and nishkala had danced with full energy till the last second her body position and her footwork are awesome totally a mesmerising and energitic perfomence and sheella mam no words to say choreography is awesome SDN s octet's are awesome in each and every ways ,all ways keep going love you Shella mam and SDN 💖💖💖💖
Delightful abinaya filled performance by all 7 dances supported by excellent musical support by singer, other instrument players too. That part where the "dice game enactment" was too good packed with emotions. The composition of this varnam is interesting too i could spot only Vasantha,Charukesi in charanam and Amrithavarshini in end part but upon little search i figured others (valachi, dhanyasi,Hamsanadham(not sure) and Surya) a total of 7 ragams like 7 dancers, overall Nice treat for ears, eyes!
Again a superb performance. The dramatic quality of the dancers (their capacity of telling a story using only expressions and gestures) is astonishing... I don't understand a word of Hindi or Tamil, but the story telling is immersive... The scene of the gambling and the lady being rendered as prize... amazing beyond words!!!
Speechless in Vishwasree abhinaya, tears well up in eyes everytime I watch it.. 16:00 to 21:30..just wonder how can one imagne such a complicated scene from mahabharata at young age. hats off !!
Lovely! The music, the dance and the gorgeous live music. As a disciple of the great Padma Vibhushan Kelucharan Mohapatra, for 30 years, I particularly appreciate the veni (plait) in the costume. Guruji said that it lent a dancer "shobha"; and that's so true!
I simply must comment. All of these performances were spectacular: but Miss Vishwashree’s part in particular was *fantastic*. Such emotive expression. My stars. One of many, to be fair - but in this video she stood out (to me, in my humble opinion) as a clearly extremely talented and beautiful young lady who so deftly brought to life a brilliantly choreographed epic. Looking so forward to seeing more of this group of SDN’s immense talent. 💜🇰🇪🏴
Thank you for posting the names of the dancers in your videos. I can recognize many of these precious, talented and beautiful dancers now in each new video. Wonderful performances. 🙏
🤩Wow what a beautiful dance. Loved it ma'am. I am the biggest fan of krithika krishna and vishwasree didi❤ they are just soooo cute loads of love from uttarakhand
🙏🙏🙏blooming of different different flowers in front of our eyes....a beautiful garden was created by the divine dancers with the blessings of their marvellous Guru ( who else can do it other than our respected Unni ma'am).. The cooing of the swarga kokila.... The beautiful accompaniments.... OMG.... This is divine.... This is divine...... 🙏🙏🙏
Singers voice amazing , choreography brilliant, costumes perfect elegant SDN- Simply Divine Nuances Just missing all the up coming Artists. Recording their Performances & Being associated with Art as well Artists. Blessed to spectate 🙏
Wow!! Simply woow Madam, speechless... What do I say about this presentation ❤️. Got to learn a loooottttt........ about how involving ourselves into character brings difference in performance, while portraying a personality, really it's very inspirational and more like learning for me and all upcoming artists out there. All dancers performed beautifully as always ❣️but to be specific Vishwashree was fabulous, was touched by her performance ❤️ Loved it 💖
You girls perfect dancers. After pathmini and waijeyenthimala and all you girls should full fill the spaces. Congratulation. Baratha nattiyam is the queen of all dances. Once know this can follow any step in dance. You girls take this wonderful art to the next generation. This the art protected by barathayar from destroyers the invaders to Barathdam. You girls next level is cinema. Improve with cultural protection.
Mam wonderfull Varnam🥰🥰 every Artist completely stood out for their bit of portion of choreography. The Abhinaya and talam were in sync and pleasing to watch. All together the Hardwork and Positive teamwork of the whole team is shown by this brilliant performance🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hearty Congratulations to You and Your Seven Stars, Sree. Sheelaa Unni Krishnan! it is as if the "Sapthe Swarangall" doing this Varnam with immaculate perfection and deep dedication to the "Aanma Bhaavam!" We see, Sa, Ri, Gha, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni on the "Arangam!" And as a "Khreedam" each dancer is depicting all of the "Saptha Swarangall!" Flawless transitions all thru. And, for the very detailed follow up of the Varnam, in the form of Transliteration, Translation and "வர்ண அங்க விளக்கம்!" Very useful to youngsters budding up in "Bharadham". It is a very excellent idea to give On Screen Display of each one of the "Swaram" (Dancer) on the video Seek Bar itself! To top that idea, the very fantastic option to provide the video sections dancerwise for Direct Share is laudable! Your Videographer deserves a Special Gongratulation! Thanks a lot of a lot to every one of you!
An absolutely beautiful Varnam, something that we were lucky enough to see in its full glory...but ma'am with releasing it as a part of the Navaratri series, I don't really think it fits the theme of Navaratri in the end..this Varnam would have been perfect by itself.
Mostly I truly admire every SDN performance. Vishwashree is a very talented dancer. But, she's too young to portray Draupadi and the complexity of her personality. That scene of the Mahabharat is too intense. And for women, too frustrating beyond words.

True… understanding of each and every character widens up as and when they grow….
