With this tool, would I have to sample air flow readings at several spots in the duct (high, middle, low) to get an accurate cfm reading?

To get the most accurate readings you are supposed to take readings in multiple spots and depths avg them together.
But you can also take a reading in the dead center and multiply times .9 to take into account the center will have the most flow vs the outter edges of the duct.
