I always enjoy constructive criticism and would love to know what you think about my designs.
Please subscribe as I have hundreds of other upgrades for many, many other cars, rc cars, toys, and anything else that I think needs upgrading!

I've no Tamiya kit. I don't even think to buy one. But I can't stop watching your videos... What's wrong with me doctor ??? :)
Excellent job! Thank you
You suffer from a problem that all people like us have and sadly there is no cure. Haha!
'The body is not going to get destroyed... mainly because you've already destroyed it' ... Love your episodes, and I'm watching this without having a Frog. It's that entertaining and interesting at the same time :-) Good job, both with the video and the new Wing mount.
Well, it's true! Haha! Glad you liked it.
Awesome stuff. My freshly purchased frog needs an overhaul. It's good to know there are some top quality 3D parts for it now as well. Also looking at the diff! Keep up the good work
YOu need the diff. It completely transformed my ORV cars.
I ordered one :)
Give the frog to someone else.
Very cool! Every time I admire your ideas! It is a pity that there is no way to buy these improvements for my frog.
Glad you like it! If there is anything you like, all my designs are on my shapeways store. Is there a problem with import duties or something to that affect?
@@AMPROEngineering the problem is Australian retail won't expand the shop so the 2 frogs they ordered sold out in 2 seconds and the wait is 10 years or 30 years.
I'm not joking either.
There hasn't been any traxxas batteries or chargers for sale for more than 1 and a half YEARS. In the WHOLE country.
Them upgrades are awesome.
Haha thanks!
They're degrades.
If you don't want a SAND DUNE buggy, go buy something else.
GET YOUR HANDS OFF the frog.
Haven't you disrespected the frog enough already?
40 years of thrashing AND disrespect.
I was SICK AND tired of your behaviour 40 years ago. You're STILL sick in the head.
Just tell manufacturer and retail to SELL BOXES OF PARTS.
You can't handle engineered cars.
STOP SELLING complete cars to the bacteria!
the car looks great, at first I was against the doubke wishbone suspension when seen on the monster orv chassis, but this car made me change my mind, awesome "vintage" mod racer you've created, can't wait for the next instalment :)
Yeah the trailing arm on the ORV is part of the charm. I totally get it but I wanted on of them to be awesome on the track, I am going to race my Mudblaster against modern cars. I need to show them old cars still have life.
The next BIG thing is The KAZZOOMBAH!
Boxes OF mods for No car.
How about a wing mount for those running stock style running gear?
I looked into that first. It may be a future project but I pretty giant part since it would need to bolt to the transmission. I think it will happen though.
I love your videos and RC upgrades
Thanks Chris, lots of fun.
I don't.
Hi first of all thanks for the video, nice and neat.
Where can the double wishbone suspensions be found? do they have a code I took a look on your website but couldn't really see which ones they are...
Thanks! Take a look at episode 35. The link to the parts and BOM are all there!
@@AMPROEngineering ok thanks will do
looks great!
Thanks!
No it doesn't.
The designer agrees with me.
good project the bugy is amazing y liked.👍
Thank you Marcos.
Is that an old Trinity Speedgems motor?😮
Indeed! I have lots of them in my cars.
awesome build
Thanks!
The KAZZOOMBAH is better. It's got 1 million mods.
That's what I call ENGINEERED!!
Thank you!
Wrong.
I was wondering what CVD you are using on this and will it fit on your Hornet rear rear suspension conversion?
This is the stock one for the Re-release blackfoot. It will not fit the Hornet IRS though. You will need the one I spec'd in the video & descriptions. Hope that helps!
I sell boxes OF parts called the KAZZOOMBAH.
Gossip about them.
Where can I find the whole suspension set up :0
The build video is here and links are in the description with the BOM.

@@AMPROEngineering Thanks for getting back to me!
Any work on an improved FROG FRONT suspension?
Yes actually! I am working on a suspension skeleton.
@@AMPROEngineering WHOA! any other details, posts or pics?
Not yet. I need to make the chassis in order to make everything that bolts on but I am on it.
You're not a designer.
@@AMPROEngineering stay away from the frog.
You're not reinventing it.
Get your own life.
I love those rear shocks! Do you remember the model?
I dont but they are bad. The top cap actually locks down on the o-ring and causes it to tear and leak. These are closed with threadlock. They are not good sadly.
Good to know thanks!
do u still make those rims??
Yup, they are on Shapeways in the rim section. There are a couple versions depending on offset (for the fronts) and hub (for the rear). Shapeways link in description and message me if you have questions on which to get. Thanks!
I'm gonna take a shot?...Poison-Dart--- because ORV chassis's have that unique arrow shape to them. Am I digging too deep? I'm a big fan, but still have not purchased my upgrade package from you yet. At the rate you engineer upgrades, the list is getting longer! LOL =))
Hahaha! I like that guess! Actually the poison dart is a kind of Frog. Yeah I know, I am making too many things lol!
That fits the description...took the Frog to a new level. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like to see a run video of the Poison-Dart.
You want to hear something funny? I have run the car 30 feet and then my neighbors dog broke free from his chain and made a bee line for it. I grabbed it and took off! He has ruined one of my bodies and ripped a friends traxxas slash in half. Poison dart hasn't been out since.
Bummer Dude...hope to hear something about the poison dart in the near future. LOL damn goofy dog
Oh you will..
A roll over when driving on SAND DUNES.
The components can only do 1 job.
You can only experience what they're designed to do.
It's fine tuned for Sand duneS.
For goodness sake, it's got a REAR mounted engine!
Every corner you enter, that motor causes the rearend to rotate the whole car. It's got TOO MUCH turning power.
So the designer widen the rear wheel tyres to PREVENT rear wheel slides AND roll over.
Yeah the issue is the trailing arms. They are a mess when they are under load.
@@AMPROEngineering
The designer is imagining the stresses on the chassis as it’s being stressed by the environment it’s operating in.
If you take away the minor stresses of sand dunes and drive the car car 🚙 on road (grass etc .) the whole car needs to be redesigned.
Yeah, I agree, the trailing arms are a mess. But the rear of the car is jacked up in the air cause it’s designed to sink into the sand under full throttle conditions.
That’s what’s causing you to roll over on hard ground and break the rear spoiler.
All the weight is in the rear of the wheelbase and it’s up high cause the motor is mounted up high.
It’s perfect for roll overs on hard surfaces.
Components can only do 1 job and you can only experience what they offer you.
The chassis is designed to resist the tensions of sand dunes and very loose and soft dirt. It’s almost exclusively for middle quality sand surfaces.
With tamiya, it’s all about the scale driving experience.
They’re SO faststidious about details.
