' i used to cut half tamiya frog ORV and put on the traxxas chassic... wow very good... another 2nd tamiya frog ORV with 4 traxxas tires... already in my channel video
The biggest problem I had with my Blackfoot (back in '89) was the hex drive axles, make sure they have plenty of grease, or try to get regular dog bones. Also the gearbox didn't hold the differential together and the gears would strip out. I replaced that with a Jim Thorpe ball diff. Of course the Blackfoot had much bigger tires, so these things may be ok with your Frog. I like the vintage stuff, keep it up.
Thanks for the comment and the advice this is my first tamiya i always wanted one in the 80s but parents got radio shack instead so now im living the dream lol thanks for support👍👍🎉😀👊💣💪
@@AdventureTimeRC lol, same here, until I got my Blackfoot, it was my first real RC car. I got it for Christmas in 1989, back then putting it together was half the fun. I'm not sure if anyone has sold kits in the last 15 years, they are all ARR.
Niiice! Ha ha, yeah, the vintage brittle plastic :-) I think I haven't had one single run with my 1986 Bigwig without breaking at least one part. But we do what we must do :-) At least you got some new shiny parts that probably won't be breaking any day soon :-) Good job. I subscribed to your channel :-)
Lol i thought you might like that thats the advice you gave me when i bought it i ordered parts from the 2016 re release so maybe they will last a few runs thanks for watching my friend your new channel is great 👍👍💣💣🎉🎆👊
