      Yo David after replacing Isco 61mins on the clock and only being on the pitch 3mins and scoring probably one of the greatest champions league final and also scoring from 30yards ( even tho it was karius mistake) he came on changed that game with two goals helping Madrid win 3-1 he was named man of the match aswell in the final.... so yeah I would call that

      At least the fans should get off his case for wanting to play golf. I find that hilarious.

    • @Fran-tg5yp
      @Fran-tg5yp 4 года назад +8

      The reason fans don't like Bale playing golf is because he has made it so clear that he cares more about golf than the team or football as a whole. They aren't mad that he has a hobby, their mad because he thinks he is entitled to do whatever he wants because Real Madrid either has to pay him 51 million euros to buy out his contract or find someone who is willing to buy him and pay him that exact salary, and no team is going to pay that much for a player who doesn't even want to play football in the most successful team in the past decade. This is coming from someone who lived in Madrid for 8 years, it's disgusting how Bale has used his enormous wages as a hostage against Madrid. Imagine if Messi suddenly started playing tennis and went out and said: "If Barcelona doesn't want me they will have to pay me 51 million euros, in the meantime, I'm going to be playing tennis. Why should I care about playing football if I've already won every possible trophy for Barcelona?"

      @@Fran-tg5yp Think you misunderstood. He wants game time but without getting game time what else is there to do? The flag "Wales, Golf, Madrid" doesn't mean he doesn't like playing football. A quality player like him, would want quite a lot of game time but he doesn't get it. Also, he's always getting criticism off the fans and media because he's foreign and not always at his best. If the fans don't like him, he's very much entitled to play golf for the 2 years left on his contract and go to the Chinese League after and get paid even more but he will actually play. Also, Madrid are the ones who wanted to keep him as they decided to pull out of the negotiations with the Chinese team. If Madrid aren't gonna let him go, but won't play him, he can play Golf all he likes and then turn up on a cold wet night in the CCS and play like he wants to play football.
      Don't know if you watch Wales games (as Im welsh I go to all home games) but there's a reason for that passion he shows for Wales compared to playing for the biggest club in the world

    As a Madrid fan I can say that Bale is worth every bit we paid for him in transfer and wages. In comparison PSG, United, and City have all spent close to a billion each this past decade and that a grand total of zero UCL titles to show for it.
    The bernabue jeers him now but we once sang his name with great joy and anticipation. Nobody can change what has happened in the last few years. Similarly, no one can take away what Bale has done for us. He is a Madrid legend through and through and in a few years, I hope we can all look back at his time in Madrid with great fondness.

    1. 3 peat. champion league of modern time.
    2. He is a legend in his own country (Wales) and is constantly called up without having to prove himself on a club level.
    3. He's always getting his pay weekly and mind you, his wage is no peanuts..
    4. He gets paid to escape the weather in England and into the always sunny Spain.
    5. He get to do what he love playing golf in a beautiful country and weather.
    Lastly, do you believed in lucky charm? Charms that bring you good luck.. let me tell you, bale is the lucky charm for Real Madrid. Before bale came to RM what did they win? RM is constantly losing to Barca, even that 5-0. That is the RM that consist of Ronaldo, benzama, ozil, di maria, Ramos, pepe and the list goes on.
    Once bale came.. the table has turn isn't it? Once Bale came RM won everything and overtake Barca as the king of Spain.
    Bale don't even have to play, he just bring good luck for RM. Something are not meant to be explainable, this instant is one of them.

    I believe that madrid was just not the team for him. I’m a real fan but I think that Bale should go elsewhere. Bale is a great player, but Madrid had too many star players when Bale came along. It’s not really Bale’s fault whatsoever, but the real madrid board just started to pick on every small problem, including golf. It is a real shame to see him sleeping on the bench when he should be out on the field

  • @vivekkathula999
    @vivekkathula999 4 года назад

    Bale is a player who came to Real in his peakdays, you don't become EPL player of the season without impressing,
    he is a player who is committed to give 100% for Real, he never bothered initially if he scored or not but only wanted Real to win, see his assists,
    so i think it is how Real Madrid coaches have managed Bale to be on good terms with CR7 could be a reason for his drop in performance,
    I wish he got to be on the team when Jose Mourinho was coaching

  • @LaughterCigar
    @LaughterCigar 4 года назад +1

    For all of you saying that Real and the fans have been unfair to him, and that they should be thankful for all the important goals he's scored, let me explain the perspective of a Madrid fan.First of all, Madrid fans don't care about important goals that much. What they want to see is true commitment and devotion to the club. And Gareth, besides being very inconsistent performance-wise in all these years (because yeah, those goals in the finals were great, but then he could go on for months without scoring), has never shown sacrifice in defensive tasks, or participated much in teamplay. Moreover, he has always seemed off in and out the pitch, he always looks passionless, like he doesn't want to be there. He has close to no relation with his teammates, and barely speaks the language after years in Spain. And then he's been spotted playing golf many times while "injured", which has made fans angry.

    • @LaughterCigar
      @LaughterCigar 4 года назад +1

      That's the main reason, the painfully obvious lack of interest, effort and passion for the club. That's the thing madridistas value above all, and that's why they end up loving players like Pepe, Ramos, etc. ... the only big exception is one Mr. Cristiano Ronaldo, who also usually didn't participate in defensive tasks or teamplay and played mostly for himself. Buuut he scored 40-50-60 goals per season, so he's got that to back him up. Gareth doesn't. So for the Bernabeu crowd, you either perform, or at least you give your best, but Gareth has been giving neither for a long time now.

How is a man supposed to thrive when hes being booed by his own fans at any mistake he makes? Remember he plays for the same club that said "who needs Ronaldo" and didn't give Iker Casillas a goodbye... But despite all this Bale was a part of one of the best front 3's of all time. He single handedly won them a copa del ray and a UCL title. and was crucial in winning 3 more UCL's. He's been phenomenal, don't let the agenda fool you.

  • @irvinelperucho
    @irvinelperucho 4 года назад +1

    People need to actually watch madrid week in and week out to understand Bales situation instead of relying on biased media.
    First and foremost I don't think anyone in Madrid can deny his importance in the 2014 and 2018 final and the CDL final in 2014. I don't think that'll ever be taken away from him.
    The problem is this: When you pay a then world record fee of 100 million for a player you expect much more than what Bale has done. To put it into context, Ronaldo has 3 goals in CL finals for Madrid and also won the 2011 CDR for real single handedly. Yet why is Ronaldo more respected and cherish than Bale? Its simple. Ronaldo produced in every completion. Gave his very best every game, almost never injured, broke scoring records and won Ballon dor multiple times. When Bale was purchased for that fee, it was expected that Bale at least try to procude the same and remember as the video said, the man was the third best player in the world, so expectations like that was not out of the question.
    Instead Bale has been injured for most of his time at Madrid and has a lot of poor performances. A lot of people continue to say that Zidane and the fans treat him poorly but this has been going on for years probably since the 16-17 season. The media just decided that now is the time to push this "story" when like I said Bale has been performing poorly for years now othet than the 2018 CL final. Even when Lopetegui and Solari were managers, Bale was still in the bench due to injuries and poor performances yet people don't seem to mention that. It's just Zidane the fans or whatver the media wants to put the blame on.
