Ozil is a luxury. No one has ever said he's shit. When you're 2-0 up at home he is one of the greatest players to have played the game. When you're 0-1 down away from home he is literally the last player you would ever want on your side. He has absolutely no defensive ability or workrate and 20 years ago that would have been fine because you'd play him behind a quick striker like Bergkamp/Henry type partnership and watch the goals. These days it's just not possible. There's a reason Madrid sold him.
