- Hi and welcome back! It was a great day to do some dumpster diving! People are starting to move out and we found all kinds of clothes, home decor, skateboards, kitchen items, and more..
I am really excited to have found those shoes that fit me - the boots are great and I've already worn them once now :) LOVE being able to get new clothes and shoes for free from the trash.

Its a glass cutting board! You don't have to worry about bacteria like like you do with wood or plastic boards. I love mine!!!

Too bad they thru it away it's not cheap. The glass cutting board they should have kept and did research on it . it was brand new with plastic wrapping. No way it could have been for microwave. For microwave it would be round.😂😂😂😂😂

I have suggested this to them over and over and over again. But they have never responded to that suggestion. I have a truck too, that is why I think of it so often!
I've seen people already letting you know it is a glass cutting board. So the other thing I wanted to suggest is next time if there is no way to climb up to look in the dumpster, pull your truck up along side of it and jump up in the truck bed to get a peek at what's in the dumpster. Love you guys ,you're so cute together. ❤

When I was a child back in the 1950s we had very little waste. My mum kept all the cloth, jumpers etc until she got a good bundle and then my sister and I would push them a couple of miles to the "Rag and Bone" man. He would weigh them and give us a few coppers which we took back to mum. Glass bottles of milk were washed thoroughly and put out for the milkman to take or other bottles could be returned for pennies to where they were bought. We used very little tinned items. The fire ashes went out on the garden where my dad grew veg and flowers. All shop bags were brown paper and these were used to wrap parcels. String and elastic bands were kept and reused. We didn't have a lot of waste. Both my parents worked. We were the original almost zero waste.❤❤👋👋👵🏴

I’m from California and we don’t have Cicadas here. The first time I’d ever heard them was on your channel a few years ago. I first thought I was hearing a rattlesnake. I couldn’t understand why you guys couldn’t hear what I was hearing and weren’t freaking out. Lol!! You’ve, since, educated me. 😂😂😂❤
The first time I went to Texas they weren't out yet then we went camping at state owned camp grounds in Hill Country we went to a water fall and I heard them then all over scared me at first but then I realized what they were

They actually have a step stool lying flat in their truck bed, I’ve seen them use it a few times. Like you I thought a step stool would come in handy and not long after noticed they had one.
The square glass is a cutting board of sorts ..lol
You can fix the basket just by reattaching the handle with some twine and maybe do the other one too so it matches.

I'm an aquarium person and that pump filter was perfectly good. Just calcium buildup from the water. It can be scrubbed and cleaned, it'd be fine!!

That glass rectangle was possibly a kitchen surface protector/chopping board or a splash guard for a hob. We have one we put our air fryer on
You can use water mixed with vinegar in spray bottle for hard water stains cleans up nicely.
The frosted glass piece was tempered glass. Set on counter tops to hold warm dish and prevent scrapes/scuffs

I think the frosted glass was part of a fridge shelf. Great techniques, the twist and pull, and putting the claw thing in the box handle hole 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 team work 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Hey guys. You know, there are just some dumpsters you just gotta jump into. You be surprised what you can moss by not going in. We found that out a few times. Nothing much on top, but something told us to jump in, we did and there was tons of really nice stuff under the cardboard boxes and papers. It was well worth the jump. Lol. Happy diving, be safe. 🌞💜. When you find an open top, pull the truck right up next to it. Use it for your ladder. At 29:33, that plastic square piece is a cutting board for in the kitchen.
I don't jump in. I am 68 with a muscle disease and CHF. Lately I am finding that people are illegally dumping yard debris in the store dumpsters (or it might be the shopping center's landscaping company). I hope good stuff isn't hid underneath.

Another great video! I too am surprised/disappointed in the amount of clothing and footwear that is in good condition. I rarely find anything my size or that I would wear but great for donations!

just an idea but when i was able to dumpster dive b4 health issues came along at the dumpsters that had no steps etc... we would just pull out truck up against it and stand on our truck bed sides and look :) good video as always. take care.
you could park close to the dumpster and use your truck rail on the back to look in.

I see others have told you that was a glass cutting board. I have several and love them, they are clean, no chance of bacteria hiding in the scratches and crevices like wood and plast versions. The Wild Turkey used to be highly collected back in the day, not sure if they still are but that was a really cool find, plus the cute shoes you got that will fit you!
On that big dumpster with no sides...there was a bucket you could've used to step on. But you didn't miss out on much. At least I didn't see anything.

Bless you 💖 I hope your lung infection gets better soon. My ex brother in law committed suicide a couple of months ago and my sisters daughters are 10 and 13 years old. It's so hard to help them with grief and all the unanswered questions 😢

The tempered glass looked like it was a “Corning Surface Saver” I have three to protect my counters . Great for placing items right off the stove or oven. They should have little rubber feet in the corners but you can always get replacements if missing.
Those run like $30 for the larger sizes at retail stores
THAT CAN OPENER CAN BE CLEANED OF RUST WITH CLR IR SOAKING IT IN WHITE VINEGAR. NICE HAUL,!😮

That blanket would have been a nice donation to a pet shelter. You should take things like that and donate them. Shelters are always in dire need of things like this for the animals. They are Gods creatures and deserve comfort too!

Can't wait to see your big yard sale if you film it this year. I hope that lots of people going to college will stop by and get useful things for school. I heard from a friend here in Calgary that most schools here have a donation set up so they can have things picked up by different groups for donations and also they have a room where kids can put supplies they won't use or can't take with them so that new students can go through them and take what they need. I think if that is true that is so awesome. We have lots of bins around our city and donation centers so I hope they are utilized more than people giving things to value village because their prices have gotten out of control in the last three years.
