GREAT REACTION!!! 🔥🔥🔥I had to giggle a little bit about you wondering how many of us might not show up for this song. Too funny! It's a HUGE favorite for SO many of us, and most of us ENTIRELY love SABATON in the first place!!! 😀 My favorite is all of the rhyming "---ation" words. I can just picture Dan VERY carefully learning all of them. I often wonder if he had a "cheat sheet" out there in front of him, but...I kind of don't think so! The whole thing is just SO WONDERFUL! Here's something to think about. Think about the way Dan finished off "O Holy Night," and some of the gestures he used there at the end, to indicate fighting along WITH the ONE who always wins! When I saw that song the night he released it (on 12/21/23), I couldn't help but think of THIS song, and his "choir," and his gestures regarding the same topics. LOVE IT! Have you heard of Nanowar of Steel? They have a song featuring Joakim Broden from Sabaton: Pasadena 1994 If you haven't heard of Nanowar of Steel, that could be another rabbit hole to dive into. Norwegian Reggaeton, Uranus, Valhallelujah, and many, many others. ...and yes, Dan is awesome! He usually exceeds expectations, or at the very least pays proper homage to the original of whatever he is covering. Some of my favorites of Dan's are: Exceptional - Unisonic, Battle Hymn - Manowar, any of the Witcher songs with Song of the White Wolf being my fave of the bunch, but Burn Butcher Burn is a good one for reactors... so many more and he does such an EXCEPTIONAL job with them all! It's hard to choose, really.
