    IMO
    You guys should done this vid with the coconut hanging in mid-air to show how much damage from impact is done.
    With the coconut resist on solid wall like this, the coconut broke because of the impact force + the counter-force when "pushing" against the wall.

    Honestly saying i did not thought that any of you would succeed in breaking the coconut but really you showed the people the true picture on how tough the fighters in general are even i did not knew that unless i was kicked for the first time. And the funny thing is they absorb these type of shots and still continue to fight as if it was nothing...

    • @muppetowner
      @muppetowner 8 лет назад

      A local club in my area is the exact same, mostly running and circling your arms for an hour with 15 mins for technique and maaaaybe some sparring

    • @fabianduvet7215
      @fabianduvet7215 8 лет назад

      To start off with boxing, you need to be in shape, you need conditioning. Maybe you don't have it and your trainer makes you focus on it, and you really need to get good form and technique to get the most out of your punches, while conditioning like roadwork, skipping, pushups, situps and that kind of stuff prepares you for the fights itself, unless you wanna run out of gas in 1 minute. Don't overthink it, especially if you're a beginner. Stick to basics and listen to your coach, without conditioning and technique, you have no place to be thinking about strategies, you'll be doing both of these for as long as you keep training, theres no way around them, strategy comes with experience, after you have good conditioning and proper technique, if you're still learning punches, haven't sparred and punching combos don't come as second nature to you, which means you don't really need to think what you're throwing, you just know your combos, you shouldn't be thinking about strategy. It really comes down to your opponent, what he does, what you're capable of and so on. I'd advice you to shadowbox, focus on moving, footwork, angles and throwing punches while thinking, slipping and whatnot. In the end it all comes down to experience, ring IQ and being able to think and perform under pressure, you never really go in the ring having one plan and expecting it to succed, it's not gonna work. If you are unsure in what to do, go check some shadowboxing workouts on youtube from boxers, go look at JT Van V, hes an awesome coach on youtube. But you gotta work on technique and conditioning, those are just as important if not more important than a strategy as I said it depends on your capabilities and what your opponents does, but with experience you will find that you don't always follow your strategy, you need to mix things up, theres no easy way in boxing, focus on moving (footwork), hitting the bag while moving and shadowbox to the point where you don't think what punch to throw in mid-workout.

Many people tell me that long hair is bad in street fight but you know many things about street fighting and you have long hair so it cannot be so bad. So how bad is hair grabing in a street fight considering i have some experience ?
