>Berserkers are best >Doesnt bring up Hawkeye whi literally is the best Berserker with being actually able to take hits and land crits with goddamn iron axes
Ray Severe Dart in HHM (the only actually difficult way to play fe7), is simply just a bad unit. Saving stat boosters is just dumb, why would you use EVERY Skill Book in the game for a sub-par unit? His Speed is nigh nonexistent and his Defences are terrible too. Fe7 is the same game where you get Hawkeye man. Have you seen his bases + growth rates he’s nuts.
@@raysevere5417 His only way of promoting is an Ocean seal and thats way mor useful for its cost. Dart is an okay unit but not many ocean maps in FE7 and he is slow u like Hawkeye who can double and quad with brave axe

_Gerik arrives too late to have impact_ >Bases that carry you throughout the game when you promote >Uses axes better than literally everyone, including Ross and Dozla This take was hot enough to melt my phone
Hey, when Ross gets to speed, he's only slightly below Gerik, especially since he joins really early in the game. Make him a Berserker, raise his axe rank so he can use Garm, and watch the crits fly. Gerik's still awesome though, in both character and usefulness.
I know I'm super late commenting but I got a soft spot in my heart for Armor Knights. I know their mobility makes them much less useful than many units but I just love the idea of having an invincible armored juggernaut defending your army. I think they're actually quite good provided you're willing to slow down your army to use them to full effect.
And I think thats sadly the issue, people seem to hate the idea of carefully moving your armies along and fighting strategically in a traditional sense. Unless its FE4, or specific maps requiring you to be speedy, I dont see why the fanbase is so insistent on rushing things. Dont worry, I stand with you, 4 years later, as an armor knight enthusiast.
Knights are bad because they’re slow and have low movement, so they take forever to move to the frontline and often times get doubled. Not that it matters, because it doesn’t matter if you get doubled if the enemies only do 2 fucking damage to you at best. Let’s see your Paladin hold a choke this effectively.
@@ramenbomberdeluxe4958 Me as well! I always spread out my teams each Fire Emblem! I always have at least one or TWO of each class (Mostly Paladin, if I have Fliers, I have TWO and they'll be a Pegasus Knight and a Wyvern Knight!) I'm not a fan of "Make everyone THIS OP class and you can just BRRRR the game" like in 3Houses with Wyvern Lords! I play to have FUN and enjoy! Fates Conquest REALLY made me love Effie and Benny for how they do GREAT in their FLAVORS! Effie is my MOBLE Tank, decent Defense and GODLY STR! Benny just is a WALL and that's GOOD! I usually reserve a BOOT for my Armor Knight choice if I DON'T plan to make them a Great Knight that is. I loved how Effie was essentially what I WANTED from PAST Female Armor Knights! But now a days so many want the META being catered to "Speedrunners" so sad but whatever play as you like I say!
heehee whoops * saves up orbs for more fell Tiki merges * JK I´m terrible at saving, so as soon as I see I have orbs stacked up, I suddenly decide I want a focus unit and summon--
Flyers are just the best. In one of my Birthright playthroughs, I carefully set up support chains so that every single unit could become flyers. And also played the Royal Royale a few times just so the few characters that couldn't become flyers through my complicated marriage/buddy seal planning could still become flyers anyway. Needless to say, a lot of maps were totally broken open with an all flyer team...
She is easily the worst of the three sisters though. Her health, strength and con are horribly low. I will admit I still did get upset with seeing Fiora right next to her, who was easily the best pegasus knight in that game, Farina costs too much.
@@joshuabonesteel2303 But Florina has the best strength growth of all the FE7 peg knights, has by far the best availability and has the lowest con (so the most aid) along with a great speed growth.
Agreed maybe its just me but ive never experienced bad growths with Florina ever in any of my many play throughs of that particular fire emblem game. that and you have her from the third map in the game so she easily has time to reach max level
Well would you look at that, Falcon knights came 2nd in both our lists! I must say Omni this was a very solid video. The editing, pacing, audio quality and so on was much more focused and consistent that usual (especially in the second half) and I enjoyed hearing you explain your reasoning behind each entry. Granted there were a quite a number of objectively wrong statements ushered throughout but to me it's not that big of a deal, overall great work dude.
@@tahamohammad8842 But out of fairness, you KNOW they would just DISABLE her Immaculate One form somehow to "balance her!" Still sucks to not have Shapeshifters/Manaketes! At least Engage SOMEWHAT brought the concept back! Still has a ways to go, but hey there's that!
@@librathebeautifulwarmonk1283 Yeah, too bad the class doesn't feel worth it other then Camilla (Similar to Engage's Goldmary, WTF is with the Costume choice! Camilla and Goldmary look GREAT in the classes they start with! Everyone else looks TERRIBLE when they reclass to them however!)
Paladins typically have 3-4 con higher than an average unmounted unit typically meaning they have that much more effective speed. Paladins have the best base stats of any class and highest utility
Great video Omni, Wyvern class on top of the list makes perfect sense for Fire Emblem. My favorite class in FE has to be dark mages. They wield strong magic tomes and can wield staves upon promotion. For me they are just fun tricky units to play around with. Medieval fantasy magic has always been my favorite concept in any entertainment media. Dark mages always had good designs for both enemy and friendly units. There magic cloak just makes them look cool as powerful dark sorcerers. Good luck to you with college life Omni.
> Mentions great strength skill and speed growths > Is disappointed in Heath > Heath's growths in Strength, Skill and Speed are 50%, 50% and 45%, just like Milady. > k Note: I know it's because Heath starts out a lot weaker, but he's actually a pretty good unit.
It only appeared in 1 game, and the player can only ever get 2 of them, but Master Knights from FE4 are pretty awesome once you get them. They have A rank in every single weapon type except light magic (they have C rank in light), so they can use literally anything that isn't a legendary weapon/staff.
@@tahamohammad8842 You know they would DISABLE the Immaculate one RIGHT! Something tells me they had to be LIMITING with Manaketes, hence why they didn't show up PER SAY (the three that DO as bosses are treated like MONSTER units!) But frankly Saint would have just been a similar feeling Enlighted One class!
If I had to name a favorite class, it would have to be the nomadic rider/ranger, with that sweet, sweet speed and movement, swords and bows combo, and decent strength and skill
The good ol' classic General. I personally only have experience in FE 7 & 8, but I love me a good General. I will always put Amelia as best girl because of her General potential.
Ironically, I think Sages top the list for me in terms of classes. Staff rank doesn't mean much when it comes to getting staffs: A light heal staff on your newly acquired healer if you need it absolutely turns some of the best units in the games into ABSOLUTE powerhouses. With their generally higher magic compared to their healer counterparts, this makes them a hell of a great healer. Sure, they can't heal at range, but if you need that good emergency healer, then there's nothing better then this backup, armor melting, unit saving backup healing duty. Wyvern Lords are also a great class, there's nigh a single bad one in the series, only mediocre at best. I dunno why, but there's something about the Trickster and Adventurer that feel like they are really good for utility. Falcon Knights with Staffs also get this: Having a side healer always tickles the fancy.
@@Saltyoven I mean, yeah, that's true...but there's something cathartic about having a Sage/Druid/Bishop who's around and has a cheap treasure trove of heals, without breaking the bank and being able to go for more interesting heals. Very cheap cost, very efficient 20-40 heavy heals.
@@TheEeveeKing totally agree, when the heal is 10 + mag, even when it was 10 + mag/2, a sage who has good growth in magic can heal 25+ per heal as you need them, right down to just topping off a tank in a choke point. i often dropped most healers in favor of any mounted healers, and just used the cheap heals on sages/druids and tossing looted mends on them near the final chapters
I was worried, but yeah. Aside from the order ya nailed it. Honorable mention to the necromancer though, summoning disposable skeletons with devil axes in Stones was hilarious.
Ced and his sister are what I want to see from kid mechanics in FE. Both are completely different from each other, one is an unpromoted pegasus knight with tons of availability, the other is a midgame promoted sage. They play nothing alike but both are completely flexible to where it's impossible to screw both or even either up. Gave Ced a physical or slow dad screwing up his growths? Who fucking cares the sage class bases are insane and he's guaranteed to come with a great weapon to use. Gave Ced a magic dad? Congratulations, you just turned an already amazing unit into a walking god, to the point where his base stats are so high they roll over into being the class base, and he's still a god. Gave Fee a magic dad? She can inherit and abuse magic swords, especially after promotion with a huge +7 magic and she can staff better. Gave her a physical dad? Now her combat and durability are better than they usually are, not that it was bad in the first place. They're probably two most viable Genealogy kids, their only competition for title of easiest kids would be Lachesis'.
@@5h3nn0ng In general. Both have competent stats, classes, and easy enough equipment access. They really just need pursuit and that's it. Nanna gets easy inheritance from her mom and Diarmuid just wants swords. Even without inheritance he can just buy some extras off Larcei, Ulster, Seliph, and/or Fee. Both have competent combat with pursuit, competent stats overall, charm utility, a horse, and Nanna gets staff utility.
Great video but there's some questionable things said here, so real quick: 10: Good 9: Staff utility is one of the best things about sages even if your not playing fast, Just ask Saleh or Pent. Also Lilina is kinda junk but you probably already know that. 8: Pretty good 7: Alright (GAIDENGAIDENGAIDENGAIDENGAIDENGAIDENGAIDENGAIDEN) 6: Sure 5: Good but i'm pretty sure people don't consider Ike a hero. 4: I think berserkers are better then people give them credit for but Charlotte is rightfully garbage. 3: No mention of staff utility, GBA nosferatu and luna are a bit overrated. If your grouping all the promoted dark mages i think you should have mentioned summoners. Other then that, Good. 2: Florina & Fiora < Est? Also no mention of rescue which is arguably the best thing about peg knights early game. 1: Great
Having a secondary or tertiary healer on your team is importaint, and having another of them can really make things easier on a more casual, or even Iron Man run. Tricksters, Adventurers, and Modern, staff wielding Falcon Knights are some of my favorites. Having heals, plus a physic staff makes life so much easier, so much so I actively try to choose them if I have the option.
Lilina is great for healing, she heals just as much as a Bishop or Sages with Mend above with a lone Heal staff. Plus she's a great Wyvern Killer without needing Aircalibur. Also good support bonus for Roy. All in all not junk, just needs proper consideration of pros and cons. Saleh and Pent only has a better Stave rank easy to surpass with Erk and Lute.
My favorite class in the series is a tie between Cavalier/Paladin and Wyvern Rider/Lord. You can never really go wrong with all that movement, as well as balanced (usually) stats for Cavs, and a flier that has the tanking potential of a goddamn GENERAL has always been an appealing idea to me in Wyvern Riders’ cases.
My favorite class line is by far the Myrmidon line! Swordmasters and Assassins always make at least a spot or two on my team in any game. It's hard to say no to a unit that can mow down hordes of enemies with crits or Lethality, dodge most hits that come for them, and when the chips are down, continue to kick ass and take names with Vantage! Between the two branches, I slightly prefer Assassins, but Swordmasters have really begun to climb my tier list after playing Fates and Genealogy. My favorite Myrmidon is Lon'qu in Awakening, but I have to give lots of love to Ryoma and Ayra, too.
I always thought controlling an armored colossus to be the coolest thing ever, so I used to always use Knights and Generals, but yeah, that abyssmal movement and speed made me run out of patience too. Gilliam from FESS is my favorite unit though. As for my favorite class, I guess I'd say Paladins.
I like Great Knights but that's probably because I've always been into heavy lancers in my Medieval Style themed games. Idc what others say I love this class. I also have some with giant axes too. :D
A note on Tiki in Shadow Dragon, she can use fire stones and before you get Starlight, you can give her the starsphere to prevent weapon degradation on the divine stone. Also the divine stone deals effective damage damage against medeus which pretty much renders getting Falchion (and therefore bothering with the Starlight tome) moot.
My favorites classes are normally fliers in general (Both Wyverns and Pegasis), for me, they are the best classes in all FE games for having the best mobility from all classes. But I see the problem that fliers suffer of having low number of playable fliers comparing to horse units, and sometimes in most games they don't have a wide pool of weapon choices like in Sacred Stones where you can find horse units with Axes, Swords, Lances, Bows and Magic where fliers has only Lances and swords. I would say Awakening and Fates (Just saw some LPs from Fates) had done a good job making fliers overall better. And I do like Griffon Riders, specially because of the Deliverance skill. PS: Between the Pegasus/Falcon Knights and Wyvern Knights/Lords I would say that depends game from game since the change of weapons. Other classes that I like is the "Soldier" classes (Infantry lances) because lances is one of my favorite weapons in RPGs in general and I kinda don't like armored classes, but since the only game I played with a class like that is Awakening (Villager and Great Lord classes) I kinda don't had a full experience with the Fates and Tellius soldier classes. War Monk and Dark Knights are 2 classes that I would say is on my favorite classes because I like their concept as well I always make sure to turn Ricken into a Dark Knight in Awakening and Libra is basic the only pre-promoted that I like to use. And talking about concept, some classes in the Birthright path really make me liking them but since I don't played Fates I couldn't have a full experience with those classes.
What about the assassins?they were overpowered in the GBA times though awakening kind of made them weaker.I still remember that in the GBA times, they despite having low health had super high dodge rates and their silent criticals(later known as lethality)are much more often and not really based off the skill stat.they have quite neat strength and much higher critical rates compared to swordsmasters. So why aren't they mentioned at all? Finally everyone should know this:Jaffar rocks.
@@royalhistorian5109 A:How about runesword?it's the best 1-2 range sword in GBA. B:Sure the low defense is a demerit, but like I said their gigantic dodge rates stands atop all fire emblem classes so why bother with the defense when the dodge rate literally gives assassins no need for a defense. Finally their strength can increase to great numbers if you bother to grind them hard enough,,take matthew from FE7 for an example,in the lyn journey he is pretty much useless and only has value for his lockpick, but if you let him fight enough battles and then promote him and continue grinding he can even exceed jaffar and wield the regal blade better than lloyd(and take down the dragon,no less!Though for that you're going to have to sacrifice all you're stat boosters on him).
@@SakamotoHatsuharu A: The Runesword is a nice option but......I rather give to someone else that can do more damage. B: Yes but there strength aren't that great (aside from a few of them). meaning they can do a lot of damage. I like Matthew I think he one of my favorite thiefs but dam during my second playthrough he got RNG screwed in Strength to the point where he can't even deal damage.
Something I’ve noticed with the Cain and Abel archetypes is that I tend to pick one over the other. As I find that you don’t need both of them though it’s useful to have them side by side to take on the entire weapon circle
The first long-standing class I can think of would have to be either Hero (shocker, I know), and the Sniper (at least, the new versions. Noire and Takumi represent)... But in regards to classes that have made one or so appearances? Kinshi Knight's pretty okay. Setsuna certainly makes for a good one.
19:52 weird that you put Florina there, because apparently she becomes a fucking MONSTER if you give her a sword and level her up a bit. Got that info from a friend and from seeing Brownman/Ray Narvaez jr play a bit of Fire Emblem on stream… and seeing Florina destroying anyone in front of her
I don’t know my favorite class cause I like a lot of classes but I could probably give my favorite character in some classes. Faye is my favorite Falcon knight cause she has decent all around stats except maybe res and hp but can surprisingly double a lot of enemies. Myrrh is my fav manakete cause she is adorable and powerful lol. Benny is my favorite General because he has ridiculously high hp atk and def and decent res for a general, and I like that he naturally has Wary fighter to help with the low Spd also he is sooo cute. Ryoma is my favorite sword master because of the crazy high atk and crit rate and finally Saizo is my favorite master ninja bc of his def atk and looks :P I have some bias towards Benny and Saizo cause I married them in conquest and birthright lol
9:18 actually you can get a playable spear fighter in conquest too by capturing Haitaka. And you really should get him as his rally defense will save your ass
When it comes to my favorite class, Swordmasters are king for me, but I've grown to like Paladins for the sheer utility they have in ferrying units and being an overall balanced class in terms of growths, Heroes for their 1-2 range options and well-rounded statlines, and Berserkers for their crazy crit rates. Hell, even though Knights are a bit slow and clunky for me, Oswin made me appreciate them quite a bit. That man is truly a wall of epic proportions.
I know there's just one example, but my favourite unit is the conquerer, Alm's DLC promotion in Fire Emblem Echoes. He just draws his blade and foes just... die. It's awsome!
I'm so surprised you didn't include Generals from Sacred Stones. With all three weapons, and Amelia or the other guy for the class, and the special invulnerability skill, I loved them so much. Yes, they were slow AF, but if you manipulated the system you could get a couple boots and they become Gods
Amelia isn't that good in Sacred stones in fact she actually sucks if you don't grind for her as her stats are so dam low and she doesn't even have good growth rates. The others are pretty solid in fact the Generals all have one job to do. Hold the dam line! So yea I like Generals but they are not my favorite class because....they have huge weakness like low resist and carp speed.
If I wanted to make a fire emblem class line, it would be Duelist and Bretteur. Duelist is essentially a swordmaster, but without critical bonus and with pistol utility (Pistols are just crossbows from FE Radiant Dawn), with same skills (astra and swordfairie) and same bases. Then we have Bretteur (Bretteur is a french word for a professional duelist) - a third tier class that acts as a promotion of duelist and essentially parallels with Trueblades in Radiant Dawn. It gets a innate +10 critical for swords. As for the skills, it has axebreaker (which instead of flat +50 hit and avoid against axe users, doubles the triangle advantage against them and it ignores reaver weapons) and intuition, guaranteeing 100% avoid against the first attack of the enemy phase. So the line goes: Myrmidon -> Duelist -> Bretteur. As for my favourite class in Fire Emblem game - it is a hero class because of axe utility and above average stats in everything except resistance and magic.
Tô me, every fire emblem game is divided into "before I get a bard/dancer" and "after I get it". Dancers are phenomenal not because of what they can do fighting, but because of the flexibility and the extra layer of strategy they provide. The game instantly becomes more interesting the moment they join
I'm actually a fan of the maid/butler class quite a bit. While I'm not a big fan of daggers in general, I just think they're really neat from a design standpoint and are really nice to use for just overall utility. Like with Felicia, gotta get a kill? Just give her a flame shuriken and watch her go. Need some chip damage and debuffs? Felicia. Need healing? Felicia. Staff utility to root an enemy with Freeze? Felicia. That along with the fact that they have one of the earliest join times just makes them very convenient to use, and I just like the overall support and utility, even if daggers are kind of lackluster compared to other weapons in the game.
With the limitbreaker dlc combined with anyone who can get hero in Awakening, it's literally possible to create units who use no weapon durability and have infinite weapons. This works best on the avatar and Donnel
Funny, the 3 pegasus sisters in Echoes were rarely used in my playthrough. I think I used just 1 regularly. They were all low level when I got them and very squishy.
An interesting vid though I've got some gripes, two mainly. The Mage argument, honestly while I agree that healers will always on average have a higher staff rank there's a reason why early promotion exists as that has saved some of the worst Mages and made them useable, examples being Boey, Nino and he'll even Sophia. Even with their heavy competition due to their healing abilities they can still do something, Boey sucks late game and so he'll be a heal bot basically every turn and while units like Nino and Sophia shouldn't be used in a LTC run at all, though with healing help somewhat, Nino actually saved my ass in an ironman run when I somehow managed to lose every Mage with the exception of Canas to the RNG, yes even Pent, look that Swordmaster got lucky ok! The staff rank in my opinion can be improved reliably since you'll be using these Sages to be healing each turn unless they have amazing offences but even then you can use their healing when not fighting. Secondly with the Flier example, I wouldn't class any GBA Flier as being bad simply due to the rescue command especially Florina, having amazing availability as a Flier guarantees your usefulness and while she and Fiora (who I also disagree with being bad) pale in comparison to Farina at least you don't have to shelve out money and if you somehow want to play Eliwood mode at least they'll show up. While I'm a fan of Subaki, his heyday is only in Revelation (i.e. The worst route) thanks to availability as Hinoka just screws him over in Birthright and that Speed is somewhat inconsistent. I can't speak on Sigrun, I've not played the Tellius games yet. Though it was interesting to hear your opinion and I'm glad that someone else doesn't see Paladins as the best class (still good though). Fliers shall always be that way with me.
My favorite class would have to be Valkyrie. Put simply, a sage on a horse. Can't really go wrong with that. But also, just the ability to move freely and unleash powerful magic attacks at any range makes them a favorite for me.
My favorite classes in no particular order: Paladin, Swordmaster (esp when they can wield two swords and get a Luna with them), Dark Flier (Galeforce is amazing, and magic with lance, flexible), Nohr and Hoshido Noble (the animation for a critical Dragon Fang is absolutely beautiful and badass, to me at least), Wyvern Lord (provided I have bowbreaker), Manaketes, Brides, and Great Lord, well, Lucina Great Lord that is.
You said the healing utility on sages didn't really matter because they never get to use good staves, but If you can't get your sages staff level up, you're training them wrong, you do have to somewhat actively train them until they can use physic, but that's all you really need to get them to, you dont need to get them further because chances are you already have a better healer to give your higher level staves to and if that healer happens to be a cleric that became a sage... then that's just further proof that the healing utility is good.
My list: 1: dancers 2: wyvern riders 3: cavs/paladins 4: pegasus knights 5: heroes 6: berserkers 7: sages (would be higher if not for how much they suck in the tellius games and would move up a spot for the ones who can be mounted) 8: staff users 9: sorcerers 10: halberdiers
Wyvern Lords are definitely my favourite, i love fliers and one that can actually take some physical hits is just awesome to me. Cherche is really good but Jill was who took down my og favourite (halberdiers) Just wow being able to go kill someone, then fly in front of a frail unit across the entire map is so damn good and makes training unorthodox units (whcih i do alot, especially in tellius) way easier. Plus people riding dragons is just cool, even if they don't usually use my favourite weapon type, lances (oh hey look jill starts with lances in fe9) they're still just awesome.
Berserkers I love tank characters,And the fact i can just load these guys up with hand axes and throw them in the middle of the battlefield while watching them counter and kill *EVERYTHING!* just makes me love them that much more I also share the love of Wyvern riders as i always promote all my Pegasus Knights into them,But Berserkers will always be my favorites
I think you have underestimated the potential of the Sage class, as well as the usefulness of the staffs, specially in higher difficulties, which is a really important topic to talk about best type of classes, but you haven't mentioned. A lot of units and classes lose a lot of strenghts and potential when you play a Hard/Lunatic/whatever mode, in a normal difficulty can play as basically anyone without big inconvenients, so anyone can be good, so I think that hurts a lot of the criteria for this top. It's a good video, but some of the choices were a little questionable in my opinion, btw mage knights have been in 4 games lol. Keep it up!
yo staff utility is a thing that should never be forgotten because using staffs are good if you abuse them. What I mean by this healing for 1 hp still gives you xp and doing this over and over again can add up and give your entire team the needed xp and not just the one person. Thats the staff utility that should be taken into account.
Tecnically Palla can become a wyvern rider, by promoting into dracoknight. And he is maybe the only unit who can match Kris :3 Wyverns are truly awesome, and my favorite version of them are Malig Knights
You and I have very similar tastes in units. My personal favorites are also Wyvern Riders, largely for the reasons listed in the video. I beat Fates Revelations with an entirely Wyvern Lord and Malig Knight group. It's probably the most giddy I've ever felt playing a Fire Emblem game. I'm also quite fond of Berserkers and mages. They may be "frail" in different ways, but their raw power and speed always put a smile on my face. Especially those old-school axe-spin crits from the GBA games. Good times. Sorry you didn't have a good experience with Nyx. Try giving her two Skill Tomes and a Mjollnir, then never let anyone ever hit her ever, EVER, and you can have a pretty fun time with her.
Haar was the man to confirm Wvyern Riders for me. He was my unit that I used to fight back against the Black Knight so I could get the optional stuff. I just gave him a hammer and let him run the Knight enough so Ike could kill him without getting one shot
-Staff utility on Sages is useless, most staff users will outclass them due to late promo time -“Slap a staff on your sorcerer” So which one is it Omni? I love both classes, but staff utility varies per game. And Nosferatu/Luna in GBA? Idc about a nuking boner, watch Mekkah’s vid on Canas, they aren’t as good as noobs hype them up to be. I get that it’s a personal list, but there are contradictions nonetheless
Did you just trash-talk Florina?! Fiora is at an disadvantage by join time and you can't even get Farina in Eliwood mode! Flornia has the luck of being better than the wyvern riders you can even recruit in Blazing Sword; unlike in Binding Blade where Miledy puts ANY of the pegasus riders to shame there.
I think its supposed to be some fan made interpretation of the biological mother (not Mikoto) of the Hoshidan children from Fates, I guess from the orange hair matching the color palette of the Hoshidan royals. I guess its a Kinshi Knight from the looks of it, but yeah, I was wondering this as well.

In reality you only need c rank staffs, because that's when you get Physic staffs.
@@Saltyoven Warp doesn't come in as a C Rank staff. And the Rescue Staff usually isn't below B Rank either.

so you would love Ced from FE 4, he is the most broken mage of fire emblem history

6: Sure
5: Good but i'm pretty sure people don't consider Ike a hero.
@@HajimotoSaito Too bad Lilina is a garbage unit. And Pent never gets "surpassed", and the only way Lute is "surpassing" Saleh is with a horse.
I think staff utility really comes through on lunatic play throughs.
I agree with you on Wyvern Lords
They are...just the best. Like...oh my God.
Bow Knights, Dark Knights, and Wyvern Lords are some of my favorite classes
I really do hope we get Spear Master/Halbedier back in Three Houses. It's by far my favorite class.
What's with the Winged Pikmin at 12:50?
Bishops have always been my favorite class. not really sure why but they always excel for me. after that, maids naturally
My favourite class is any Wyvern class as well, so I was really happy you mentioned that as your number one class lol.
"Especially if we get another best girl like Nephenee"

"or Oboro"
Wait, what?
Oboro is decenr as a character but she's fucking awesome as a unit

Ryoma is my favorite sword master because of the crazy high atk and crit rate and finally Saizo is my favorite master ninja bc of his def atk and looks :P
I have some bias towards Benny and Saizo cause I married them in conquest and birthright lol
You did not talk about scarlet in fates when you were talking about wyvern lords
WYVERN LORD... Just... JUST imagine a FLYING TANK, it is as good and absurd as that.
If I had to pick a favorite class it would probably be Mage Knights like Valkyries and such or Manaketes/Laguz
Paladins... Perceval wasn't mentioned... Perceval: "Em I a joke to you?"
1:42 Hey it’s Xenoflux’s playthough. Couldn’t forget no name red sword
To be fair, Tharja’s ass IS a good reason to like the sorcerer class...
00:19 Griffon is good: flying axes and a skill that gives +2 move
You said the healing utility on sages didn't really matter because they never get to use good staves, but If you can't get your sages staff level up, you're training them wrong, you do have to somewhat actively train them until they can use physic, but that's all you really need to get them to, you dont need to get them further because chances are you already have a better healer to give your higher level staves to and if that healer happens to be a cleric that became a sage... then that's just further proof that the healing utility is good.
My list:
1: dancers
2: wyvern riders
3: cavs/paladins
4: pegasus knights
5: heroes
6: berserkers
7: sages (would be higher if not for how much they suck in the tellius games and would move up a spot for the ones who can be mounted)
8: staff users
9: sorcerers
10: halberdiers
Wyvern Lords are definitely my favourite, i love fliers and one that can actually take some physical hits is just awesome to me. Cherche is really good but Jill was who took down my og favourite (halberdiers) Just wow being able to go kill someone, then fly in front of a frail unit across the entire map is so damn good and makes training unorthodox units (whcih i do alot, especially in tellius) way easier. Plus people riding dragons is just cool, even if they don't usually use my favourite weapon type, lances (oh hey look jill starts with lances in fe9) they're still just awesome.
Berserkers
I love tank characters,And the fact i can just load these guys up with hand axes and throw them in the middle of the battlefield while watching them counter and kill *EVERYTHING!* just makes me love them that much more
I also share the love of Wyvern riders as i always promote all my Pegasus Knights into them,But Berserkers will always be my favorites
Poison spam in fe5 says hi
Wyvern Lords and Malig Knights along with war clerics/priests along with tricksters are some of my favorite classes

Tecnically Palla can become a wyvern rider, by promoting into dracoknight. And he is maybe the only unit who can match Kris :3 Wyverns are truly awesome, and my favorite version of them are Malig Knights
I love druids, but I have been playing for years and movement pace is less important to me than tanking ability
Staff utility is the best part of any magic class. Period. Bonus points if the warp staff is present in the game
Man, I love this content about FE classes, who knows... Maybe Amelia will one day have a Halberdier alternative.
Dark Fliers were in both Fates and Awakening. A variant of them is in Echoes. That should have qualified.
-Staff utility on Sages is useless, most staff users will outclass them due to late promo time
-“Slap a staff on your sorcerer”
So which one is it Omni?
I love pegasus knights! I don't know why it just seems that most of my favorite units are fliers lmfao
Who's the girl on the left side of 19:32
Great vid Omni!
My personal favorite class is the Warrior class, it may not be the best class ever but it combines my 2 favorite weapons type for any rpg
