Omg! I am 43 and my son taught me how to solve it by watching your channel! My son is 9. It’s been my dream since I was 9 and we had no internet then. I am amazed that after a while I no longer need the steps and even starting to see the patters but the steps are just incredibly useful to fall back on! Thank you for sharing this information. I am a serve dyslexic and I was eventually able to solve the puzzle. It did take me many attempts and I did take notes along the way but I was able to do it. I encourage everyone to keep trying and take the steps slowly. Rewatch the videos as many times as needed. YOU CAN DO IT!!
At the being I was so frustrated and I wanted to give up but then I realized since i memorized everything all I have to do is keep watching the steps and then. I can complete the t😟rubix cube 😀

i easily completed all the other steps but i just kept doing this one and never getting the correct result. Even worse everytime i made a mistake i had to redo the entire cube. but at least i got more practice! And after rewatching the video i was easily able to figure this one out iv practically mastered the previous steps thanks to your easy-to-understand videos

Thank you for your amazing videos! I noticed when you are looking for a specific shape you rotate the top instead of just rotating the cube. Why do you do that and what side should be facing you when you rotate the top? Also, what if you have two boomerangs? Thanks!!
Great Question! It’s totally up to you. If you feel more comfortable turning the entire cube, that works fine. For me, I like flipping the top because it’s faster after you learn the step really well. But, it’s your preference. Happy cubing!

The upper face of my cube is Top row: XYX Middle row: YYY Bottom row: XXY (Y is yellow and X is another color). I keep getting stuck on this step. TIA!
@@jenkins-nj either a corner is twisted or just treat it as the boomerang. Or try a CFOP move which directly solves it: Point boomerang bottom/right and do this: Ff R U R' U' Ff' If that doesn't work, then your cube has a twisted corner.

Great stuff, thank you! I've loved teaching this to my boys (10 & 9), and they love it. I think I'm somehow stuck on this plus. My two rows are done, but I seem to be in an infinite loop. I try the boomerang or horizontal line, but keep coming up short. I keep repeating the moves, making sure I'm starting from the correct position with the correct shape, but can't get it now. My son was taking apart the cube a little to adjust the tension. I put it back together so each side is in the correct location. Is there a chance we messed up one of the other positions and it's causing this?

Stuck in yellow FUR URF loop too. Tried to do a couple of step6 (cl-cl-co cl-cl-fli-co) in between, a couple of times, but doesn't seem to do fix it. Brand new genuine cube.
Ok joining the "cube was broken" gang lol. Two twisted corners (could've been because of my son playing with the cube) BUT also had to switch places of two opposing edge pieces. Did a reset and was able to solve the cube on the next go. Thanks for the guide!

I solved the entire cube once. No issues. HAPPY! Now I'm doing it again and I'm doing something wrong and I have no idea what. I seem to be in a "loop on this step. No matter how many times to do the moves, I end up back where I started or worse off. For example. I start with the center dot only and maybe one other yellow somewhere. The end result doesn't resemble any of the examples (Boomerrant, line, etc). I then do the moves again. I DO end up with a line for example. I do the moves and end up back at the dot. Repeat and I may end up with an INVERTED boomerang. Do the moves, I end up with a diagonal line. When you say orient the cube so that it resembles a diagram like the line, the boomerang, etc... and I supposed to turn the ENTIRE cube or just the top? I see you rotated your top only in the video, but I've tried both ways and I am 30 minutes later still looping along. Any thoughts would be appreciated. :)

Unfortunately, I've just spent the last 2 hours trying both Step 5 moves, and Step 6 moves over and over from every side, until I'm back where I started. I then rotate and start again. No dice. Also rotating the top one rotation and repeating all the above hasn't worked either. I can't seem to get the final piece of the plus. It's killing me to not know what the fix for this is, but I guess I'll reset and re-scramble and try it all again. I bought your cheat sheet also yesterday and that is really nice, so thanks for creating that also.
@EasiestSolve I figured out what I was doing wrong in Step 4! Muscle Memory failed me but now I'm all back on track and solved it a second time. On to the third, this time using your cheat sheet instead of the videos. :)
@@mkdaario4395 I was doing several things wrong. I bought the easiest solve cheat sheet and I was following that vertically down the sheet. My first issue was I was skipping from step three to step five I was paging down in the PDF file, and I was blowing completely past step four.
to be honest , this step is harder than step 4 for me . I did the step-4 in first try , but lost it in this step :( . I will start from step-1 now. By the way, excellent teaching man ! Appreciated it

A lot of the time my yellow side doesn't look like yours in the beginning so I can't do the cross. Am I doing something wrong in step 4 or do I just have to shuffle and try again? The first 2 layers are good so i'm confused as to how to fix it so the yellow side looks like that.

I am stuck in a loop. I can't make yellow plus. I am following your steps as it is but at the end i am ending up with failure. one middle piece is missing in the yellow plus. At 6:24 you had the boomerang in the correct direction and position. Why did you rotate the whole cube clockwise and then readjusted the top layer back anticlockwise?

When you turn the cube to line up the boomerang or line, why do you just turn the to instead of the entire cube? I see you do that in other videos for things too and you never explain that. Does it make a difference?

I was able to solve a Rubik’s cube with the instructions that came with it when I was around 12 years old. I couldn’t do it as an adult so I think I’m getting dumber 😂 However, your videos have helped me so much and I’m 100% confident I will solve this thing and remember it forever!

Thank you for sharing this information. I am a serve dyslexic and I was eventually able to solve the puzzle. It did take me many attempts and I did take notes along the way but I was able to do it. i easily completed all the other steps but i just kept doing this one and never getting the correct result. Even worse everytime i made a mistake i had to redo the entire cube. but at least i got more practice! And after rewatching the video i was easily able to figure this one out

Thank you for your amazing videos! I noticed when you are looking for a specific shape you rotate the top instead of just rotating the cube. Why do you do that and what side should be facing you when you rotate the top? Also, what if you have two boomerangs? Thanks!!
Great Question! It’s totally up to you. If you feel more comfortable turning the entire cube, that works fine. For me, I like flipping the top because it’s faster after you learn the step really well. But, it’s your preference. Happy cubing!

@@jenkins-nj either a corner is twisted or just treat it as the boomerang. Or try a CFOP move which directly solves it: Point boomerang bottom/right and do this: Ff R U R' U' Ff'
If that doesn't work, then your cube has a twisted corner.
This is the ONLY video I would recommend for a Mom who wants to solve and also teach her kiddos how to solve! SO SO much easier to memorize than dozens of videos I have watched before! Thanks!!

Great stuff, thank you! I've loved teaching this to my boys (10 & 9), and they love it. I think I'm somehow stuck on this plus. My two rows are done, but I seem to be in an infinite loop. I try the boomerang or horizontal line, but keep coming up short. I keep repeating the moves, making sure I'm starting from the correct position with the correct shape, but can't get it now. My son was taking apart the cube a little to adjust the tension. I put it back together so each side is in the correct location. Is there a chance we messed up one of the other positions and it's causing this?

another thing to try: Do the moves for step 6 a couple times, then come back to step 5. If it still is weird, then the cube is probably broken.

I have the same issue. Its a brand new cube & definitely genuine so I don't know why I'm not getting the plus. The other steps worked great.
Stuck in yellow FUR URF loop too. Tried to do a couple of step6 (cl-cl-co cl-cl-fli-co) in between, a couple of times, but doesn't seem to do fix it. Brand new genuine cube.
Ok joining the "cube was broken" gang lol. Two twisted corners (could've been because of my son playing with the cube) BUT also had to switch places of two opposing edge pieces. Did a reset and was able to solve the cube on the next go. Thanks for the guide!

I solved the entire cube once. No issues. HAPPY! Now I'm doing it again and I'm doing something wrong and I have no idea what. I seem to be in a "loop on this step. No matter how many times to do the moves, I end up back where I started or worse off. For example. I start with the center dot only and maybe one other yellow somewhere. The end result doesn't resemble any of the examples (Boomerrant, line, etc). I then do the moves again. I DO end up with a line for example. I do the moves and end up back at the dot. Repeat and I may end up with an INVERTED boomerang. Do the moves, I end up with a diagonal line. When you say orient the cube so that it resembles a diagram like the line, the boomerang, etc... and I supposed to turn the ENTIRE cube or just the top? I see you rotated your top only in the video, but I've tried both ways and I am 30 minutes later still looping along. Any thoughts would be appreciated. :)

It's killing me to not know what the fix for this is, but I guess I'll reset and re-scramble and try it all again. I bought your cheat sheet also yesterday and that is really nice, so thanks for creating that also.
@EasiestSolve I figured out what I was doing wrong in Step 4! Muscle Memory failed me but now I'm all back on track and solved it a second time. On to the third, this time using your cheat sheet instead of the videos. :)

@@mkdaario4395 I was doing several things wrong. I bought the easiest solve cheat sheet and I was following that vertically down the sheet. My first issue was I was skipping from step three to step five I was paging down in the PDF file, and I was blowing completely past step four.

Hi , my son was learning with your videos but then decided to take a shortcut and twisted some corners so what can I do fix it without putting it apart?
hmmmm... you can twist them back, but not sure if there is a way to know you are twisting correctly.

I am stuck in a loop. I can't make yellow plus. I am following your steps as it is but at the end i am ending up with failure. one middle piece is missing in the yellow plus. Can anyone tell me what rule i might be disobeying or i should take care of some especial thing apart from following the fur(closewise), urf(anticlockwise) steps.

Looping on Step 5? In all my time solving, I’ve never had this happen to myself. If your cube isn't broken... than check the sides. Make sure step 4 is really done. If it is, jump ahead and do the moves for step 6. Then go back to step 5. It might fix it. (I’ve never had it legitimately loop though). If you think it’s a twisted corner, you can find videos to adjust that.

At 6:24 you had the boomerang in the correct direction and position. Why did you rotate the whole cube clockwise and then readjusted the top layer back anticlockwise?
Just demonstrating that you can move the top to get to the correct position. You can ignore it. Happy cubing!

Hello, yellow plus is not coming on front side.. i have tried Boomerang many times.. 1 yellow is always missing.. what to do ?

Also, I’ve seen personally people “looping” but they were simple doing the wrong moves for that specific step. (like using step 7 moves on step 5). Also…If you think it’s a twisted corner, you can find videos to adjust that.

When you turn the cube to line up the boomerang or line, why do you just turn the to instead of the entire cube? I see you do that in other videos for things too and you never explain that. Does it make a difference?

It doesn't matter. I like turning the top because i feel my finger can flick it faster when I 'm trying to go quick. But you can turn the entire cube if you are more comfortable. thanks for the comment!

I was able to solve a Rubik’s cube with the instructions that came with it when I was around 12 years old. I couldn’t do it as an adult so I think I’m getting dumber 😂

I have a problem because i do have an boomerang shape but i’m not able to put it in the position it like it’s shown in the picture so what do i have to do?
