Thanks for the effort you put into this! It's been fun learning (finally) how to solve the rubik's cube. The only step I had trouble committing to memory was step 7 "around the thumb". I finally came up with a method which made it simple to memorize and I'd like to share it with you and your fans. I assigned the three motions a letter - clock = A, Counter = B, and Flip = C. Using this code I came up with the sentence - Before A party Buy Carrot And Banana Cream Cakes. Works for me, hope it helps others! Cheers! Sëan

Great series of tutorials! I had a few instances when solving Step 7 where after the sequence the last row of colors all match and it’s a matter turning the top row to its correct side without the need for step 8.

Hey, when there isn’t any corner matches then align a corner with the edge like 1:55 and while yellow is at front then pattern goes right top right down and pretend it’s going forever, then do clock counter counter clock, clock clock counter counter, clock clock counter clock, Clock Counter Counter Counter,
Can you put a video up about why we are doing these moves, i.e. what prices you are moving and where you are trying to move them. I understand how to do it and that it works but I’m more so interested in the concept and a deeper dive into steps 7 & 8.
First off, I'd just like to thank you for these easy to follow videos. I am easily solving the Rubik's Cube through your steps now. My question is, how do I improve my speed now? Is there a way to combine steps? Is there shortcuts? These steps do make it easy to solve but there is a lot of turns. I'm trying to find out ways to improve my solve speed. I found that your "stories" are instrumental in remembering the movements for steps. I found Step 7 difficult to remember, so I made up a story that corresponds to the moves for Step 7. Here goes: Starting on the rigjt side, of course... 1. You enter a diner and sit at the COUNTER. 2. You are expecting a friend, so you glance at the CLOCK. 3. A person enters, and sits at the COUNTER. 4. OMG! It's FLIP Wilson! 5. He is also expecting a friend, so he looks at the CLOCK. 7. Your friend arrives, and sits at the COUNTER. 8. A second arrival enters and sits at the COUNTER. 9. Your friend asks, is that FLIP Wilson? 10. The second arrival says, "Yes, that's my friend, FLIP." Done. Use this or edit/modify it if you like.
