It’s a handsome ship, too bad I don’t have the time to grind it with school going on. I hope they’ll give Alaska a Northwestern native inspired camo too down the line.
You can only imagine how thicc that armor of each ships at exterior point of view. But looking at the build process, it's look thin... Maybe Weegeee magic?
Well, most often armor is layered, which does increase the "overall" thickness of the plate quite a lot. Obviously wargaming has a more "arcade" aproach to things, so most of the plates are just grouped into a single plate where the average effective thickness is applied to the whole ship. Its pretty accurate when based around "most" of the real life ships, which have obviously a large ammount of records on their abilitites but well, stuff like the russian navy exist. And while i thouroughly enjoy playing their battleships, i cannot honestly say they even look remotely realistic, with their wierd armor layout and sitting insanely low in the water, that simply cannot be normal. I mean, its not like the cruisers and battleships are carrying 8 times their full ammo load? That or because they are mandated by law to carry a quarter of stalin's personal vodka stash onboard at all times
@@mobiuscoreindustries that's true, in real life it's impossible to manufactured a very thicc plate back then. Not in today standard, but only build thicc plate on ice breaker which a small bow part only.
How about cast iron isn't cast iron plate are easier to manufacture compared with face hardened or rolled steel, I think Yamato belt armour are made from cast iron plate

When I saw Yuro's "Odin" Video, I was thinking there must be another game like ULTIMATE ADMIRAL: DREADNOUGHTS that allows Players to Design Warships. It's in the style of Tlingit/Haida/Dena'ina art from Alaska. As an Alaskan who has Alaska Native family it is very nice to see the representation.
