one more question.. What year sportster wheels fit? do you have to use special spacers or axles etc? There are lots of GMA calipers, do you know the particular ones that fit? I appreciate the help man, I want to convert my 45 with a set up you have.
@@brian3880 six years later and my 41 wld is still sitting on the lift. It doesnt need much but I havent had the time to mess with it. Have a brand new mikuni and the stock linkert. Probably going to go with the linkert but at this point it will probably be a project for my retirement.

there is no kit I rigged up GMA calipers for it, the wheels are sportster wheels

no but the intake cam lobes are newer xr750 lobes on my stock shafts
also I built stepped header that ends up 1 3/4 instead of 1 1/2
how does mikuni carb work compare to stock lincard?

@@lophloph07 I've seen Mikuni's adapted and they had very good results. Good luck on your build. Keep the shiny side up.
