    The herd Bull looked big! What do you think he field scored? Also that bull with the drop club was unique.

    You darn right there is nothing easy about archery elk hunting. That's why we do it.

    Was this hunt on private property? Seems like all of these RMEF films are on private property. Great to watch and learn from, but a BLM, DIY hunt would also be great to watch.

      We utilize a mixture of public land and private land hunts. There are various costs associated with both aspects related to either outfitter fees or costly filming permits. Jason Matzinger's piece, "Both Sides of the Fence" lends itself well for explaining the situation.

      Hunters make up a mixture of private and public land hunting and both have their merits and challenges. We have no reason to hide it.

      @@rmef Of course it's a challenge. But the facts are that private land offers more opportunity because of less hunter pressure.
