'Re fishing the hydraulic pipe on the spreader: Get a plastic bag with a string/rope tied to it. Blow it through with the high flow airline. Tie the hyd pipe to the rope. Pull through the box section.
Ye should get a weed licker for the john deere gater, when ur own cheaking cattle it's easy to run up n down a field especially when ye are out busy contacting and don't have the time to spray
good idea but a licker is only good for young rushes because we used it on rented land that had hevy rushes and whent over it twice but it never killed the rushes
To be fair spraying poison around your fields is shite. Top and graze and drain. The rushes disappear eventually. That's what we've done on old ground that hadn't been farmed for 15 odd years. The neighbour's got the farm next door in the same condition. But they sprayed. After 3 years we have less rushes than them. If that doesn't prove it I dunno what will. Roundup , glyphosate is deadly toxic and if you dont drain and keep her topped the rushes come back anyway. So might as well leave the poison down
When the buzzer goes off on the loadall on the lift monitor on the right pillar, there is a button at the bottom you can press, which over rides the hydraulics so the lift and tilt action works
You will have to lock Fr. Phil out of the work shop till the spraying is complete. That will teach him to give in to you. Good luck with that ! Keep 'er Lit.
@@billabong9215 yes true to be fair. that's one thing you'd notice watching the videos over the years, ian was pushing phil to try alongside him while the father can't let his jobs go. Many men around the country the same though

Fingerbar mower and the 35 need a few days out over the winter to address those rushes, you'll have time then. Good video.

Weedlickers are a disaster

Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊😊😊😊
U can get rid of rushes from cutting them even mow them now and then after first grassing
Good job
Leave the spreader on 10 or flat out and control the oil flow from the tractor.

I always enjoy your videos. Keep it up.
Tie a baler twine onto the old hydraulic hose when you're pulling it out and use the twine to pull the new hose back through the box section
Too late for that now
Next time

Hi Phil, that should help the grass grow.
Hai Phil.... sooner or later your going to have sit up the sprayer like.... or else get somebody else in to do it. 😂
I wouldn't say phil is the problem, the other man is stuck on the reigns
@kieranosullivan02 I know. But if father Phil hears "Tommy" from down the road is coming on to do it. He'll be out 1st thing.
