I'm glad the horses were doing well in the new intake barn. You gyes have some work a head óf you with all these new babies!!❤ Thanks to everyone who donated to these big babies!!!😊
Great setup and handling of the horses. There’s some beauties in the bunch. Hope they all thrive and go on to a wonderful life free of fear and suffering. God bless 🙏
The new intake barn is great! Congratulations and thank you for all of your compassion and hard work ♥️💖♥️💖♥️ 🎉🎉🎉 for the sweet film style of this video! It’s beautifully done!
Really nice to see how well the new vet barn setup is working. I'm enjoying watching your team work so well together, too. Where is Dr. Lydia? Is she on vacation? I enjoy seeing Dr. Gina work, both vets have definitely settled into a lovely working relationship that's very heartwarming to see.
@@carolinechew2432 There is an old horse person saying, “pretty horses suffer.” A lot of times people are attracted to the real pretty ones when they might be suitable for them. A good horse is never a bad color.
The new intake barn looks really good. Y'all were able to get the reservation horses checked out a whole lot faster . And they were in a warmer place out of the elements. Hopefully, there isn't anything to bad going on with them , but when there is a large herd , one never knows. Have a blessed day.
Although it looks really pretty, I think that the other way of filming was a lot more informative. And with the twins talking it was a very nice setup of the vlogs. I hope they bring those vlogs back!
How nice not to be working in mud slush and rain. Those horses look a bit poorer in condition and sad to hear several have a bit of lung issues at this point in time, but Dr feels it not too drastic at this stage. The very cold weather probably has been a bit of a challenge for them on top of travel and loss of the home they were used to. The intake seems to be better for staff and animals. The video was good so thank you for your time. ❤
I keep hearing from Tawnee that she designed the whole intake setup...I saw the surprised look on the Dr. Lydia's face when she saw...I think the vets should have designed the inside set up as they're the ones doing the most important work in that area as Dr. Lydia was stating what side they needed to do things on so needed some changes...don't you think? I'm seeing so many new faces...is there such a high turnover in employees?
They’ve talked about compassion fatigue being a factor, and the construction boom in their area that is paying wages a non-profit cannot afford. Plus rescue isn’t for everyone - the heartbreak, the physical labor, the weather, cleaning up the animal waste day in and day out!
@@meganbosco7016 Taking care of horses and all the other animals is a lot of work, I agree! I’m not sure I could deal with some of the heartbreaking things they see, either.
With how the barn is made they were able to listen to vets anyways and moved everything around accordingly since nothing was set in stone. All trial and error.
What a gorgeous bunch ... thank you for taking such good care of them! Who is the new kid? Where's Hailey? And Caitlyn, please be careful with baby on board! 💌
I do like the concept of the new intake barn, but are you sure bare concrete is safe for the animals coming in? There isn't anyway for them to have any traction on the concrete, as was evident by the appaloosa almost falling. I'd check him for any torn ligaments or muscles. Just wondering how you're going to lay rubber mats or something of that nature to keep them all safe.
Concrete floors can be so dangerous for horses…slipping, falling, etc….im sure they know this. It’s just one thing I’ve wanted to comment on while watching videos of the new intake barn. Are you all getting rubber mats to put down or something else? ❤️
I wondered what happened to these guys! Good to see. Sorry to realize that so many of these healthy ones go to slaughter, as well as the sick ones. Now, because of HPHS, at least some of the reservation horses will have a chance at life.
Where is the vlogging twins...really showed off what you will have for adoption! Who are all of the strange individuals that we haven't seen before? You seem to have a high turnover rate for employees. Also wanted to know who the singer/song writer is? He never gets a credit, unless he doesn't want one??
It's upsetting seeing so many critical comments. Many folks have not been following you regularly, which explains some of the negativity. Still, there are some worrying gaps lately which videography and editing can't fill. Horse Plus has done SO much good, but is it possible you've spread yourselves too thin? Your long-time staff are amazing, but I worry about the strain on them. Perhaps it's time to slow down and take a big breath?
He didn’t say anything about where they’re from why they’re in such poor condition. What’s the intent of what you’re gonna do for them. Are you trying to get them healthy to take him back to the reservation? Are you doing this to call original Wildlife population of Mustangs on the reservation? Also, the echoing in the clanging has got to be working against the horses. Despite what you wanna sell, I like the new facility, but you need to soundproof it a little bit, some foam insulation and some soothing hz meditation music. And another thing I noticed is you need to get some non-slip coating on that concrete, before one of them falls and injuries its legs because it’s waiting to happen. And please remember, you are a predator as far as those horses are concerned, especially wild horses. They don’t need another predator like a dog running around them. Wild horses will hide their true condition like any wild animal. These guys did not look calm to me . Think act think again. You guys are much smarter than this video shows .❤😊
Im thinking this is that group that came from that other horse shelter. They hauled to horse plus so there has been coverage on this group already. They were just left to decompress and things like that and Im guessing they are now getting checked. Also the construction of the barn isn't complete. So I'm sure all of the concerns of sound and slipping will get checked.
The fact you use the word reservation in the title show you either have no clue of why ndigenous people were put in reservation, or you have no respect for indigenous people. If so, then you should just remove the word resevation in the title, and only use navajo wild horses.... You do awesome work for animals but show respect for indigenous people and stop using the word reservation

If you have seen a TikTok video it’s hard to believe you or anyone watching these videos wouldn’t know where to complain to, or how to contact Horse Plus. The intake barn is so much nicer than the old way! Not nearly as stressful on the horses and people.
The Navajo horses are looking so much better.
They look much better than the rest of the horses that come off the trucks.😊
The little paint (beat up, bad lung sounds),-- So Lovely.
Of course Everyone is going to want the Appaloosa Colt,- so no worries There!! 😊❤

They do look calmer. I was noticing that. I was also noticing how slippery it is.
Very nice set up, will definitely keep things calmer for everyone
Navajo horses are my favourite. Thank you! ❤
Its nice getting some young horses.. you can help them and the reduction of their stress is great
Beautiful indeed...thank you beautiful people!🙌😊
Wow the new facility is amazing, everything is going so smoothly and so calm! 😮
Liked, shared and commenting... Hugs from Esquimalt

I would so love to have one of those horses. So beautiful. ❤️
Much better set up. I like watching both vets but wonder where is Dr. Lydia?
The barn works great!

Why seeing such short videos? Good to see Navajo Horses intake, wish a bit more of each horse, and interactions. New Media person?

I like the new intake barn. Are there no more daily happenings?
Probably had a lot to do with getting them set up in the new barn.. hopefully soon
Can you please update us on the foal you tried to foster with the brood mare?

They put down rubber mats in time for the December buyout
@ it’s January and all of their videos are still showing concrete floors. Sorry I’m confused!
I like the old way of intake better ,this was to short .Floor matts are a must Please . More on the hoof triming and grooming plus the vet videos . 😊
Slippery concrete floor. Easy to clean but slippery. Any solution?
Beautiful wild babies.
So skinny. Ouch.
Did they come through the other rescue?
They seem wonderfully unterrified.
Good job all.❤
Sure, there are a bunch of pretty babies, so will they be ready for adoption by Spring?❤😂
I could not hear what was going on locally on due to the music, so I just muted the sound. But thank you for all you do.

Sad to think all these babies would have been on the slaughter truck. Desperately in need of gelding programs on reservations and herd management.
Don’t like that cement floor. Is there rubber matting still to arrive?
Thankyou Tawnee and team on a fantastic facility.
Agree slipping in animal waste seems very dangerous for horses and humans alike.
Please, where is Dr. Lydia? Missing her
👍🐎👍🐎👍
Is this the 2nd batch ????????????
He is a stallion. They don't geld at that early of an age, if ever. It is a given. And, he is basically not handled.

Haven’t seen Dr Lydia lately. Did she leave horse plus?
Wait someone catch me up. Did dr.lydia quit? And that’s why there is a new vet staff
Is Dr. LYDIA STILL WITH U?
Hi where is Dr Lida
Has she left the show
Why do they have short tails is it a way to identify them to be removed from resivation ?
Res horses have ALOT of appaloosa genes the have what's called rat tail ALOT of those bloodlines have sparse tails

I've been wondering that also
Why are Navaho horses tails so poorly looking?
