As'Salamu'Alaikum, been here a month ago... a very interesting & tiring climb and descent...would recommend to go and return when there's day light. It was scary to go down with just mobile torch alone. Especially if you have elderly or children with you. Seems they just opened another way to the Hira Cave...it was in Hindi so I didn't understand. I do agree abt keeping the place litter free.😇
Currently in Makkah watching this video because I couldn't go to the mountain, decided to stay at the hotel with my wife, don't want to leave her alone here.

Why all does people are seeing all the trash around and not even single one attempt to pick it up although they think it is a holy place ! Truly very upsetting and disgusting. In Quran advised us to be very clean . Look at around ! None of them care 😢
