My heart sang for skid during Troy’s monologue about Buggles. Skid your either the best actor I’ve ever seen or you were reliving some traumatic incident in your own life because your reaction was so out of this world I believed it with my whole being. I’m not sad to say it brought me to tears just watching it.

Can't believe Troy doesn't like Free Archetype. It's such an interesting alternative rule that enables a lot of character expression.
It's also incredibly helpful for the weaker classes to find more useful choices. Yes, it makes characters stronger, but not that strong, since the action economy still prevents wildly broken builds.
Zephyr with the double dip on Martial Artist could have a melee stance from it while keeping Monastic Archer. Barnes could slap on a Linguist or Rogue archetype to make his combat specialist persona shine even more. Buggles could further his crazy background with either Cathartic Mage (using Fear as trigger) or even Living Vessel (A rare Archetype that fits exactly with the whole Possession angle). Brother Ramius would definitely either get Eldritch Researcher for the bookish angle or the Medic Archetype. Asta could be cool as a Rogue or Shadowcaster.
Garfield Halloween is terrifying. Great call out.

I've started playing a kind of "drinking game" with Ramius, but smoke for smoke 😂 (note to the po po: this is fully legal where I am) Some of them pass the flay leaf very naturally

Though divination as a school has been excised from the game, the most useful "divination" cantrip is probably guidance. Stuff like detect magic and read aura could be nice little extras to have, and know the way is the most thematically appropriate for someone who has Astronomy Lore!
Divination as a school in the pre-remaster sense has indeed been removed. However, the "divination" trait for spells is still there, so they could use that to make a list of spells to include with the archetype

If Troy was feeling chaotic he should have made Asta roll a will save to see if she could leave She Who Walks, I wouldn't want the story to lose Asta but a nat 1 would have been interesting
I’m a big fan of “Free Archetype Lite” in the games I GM where I allow the players to acquire an Archetype dedication feat for free but just the dedication feat so free buy-in to choosing the archetype feats. I have two campaigns with 6 players so the normal Free Archetype variant while popular in the community is a lot of extra skills and abilities in my groups that already gets a lot of overlap from having 6 PCs.
Free Archetype Lite keeps a lot of the appeal of archetypes but after the dedication players do need to commit class feat choices toward options. It’s particularly nice as well if an archetype opportunity spontaneously comes up in the narrative so players can opt-in at low cost and is also easier on newer players so they don’t suddenly have to make 2x as many class feat choices as normal Free Archetype. I recommend trying it.

It's SUPER rare that anything you can get from Free Archetype is game breaking. I think the worst one is the acrobat because it basically gives you free boosts to acrobatics over time. Otherwise taking/having free archetype just gives you more options during play.

I only found 3 cantrips with the Divination trait: Approximate, Read the Air, Time Sense that aren't Psychic cantrips. So for most of the party members not a huge power boost. But their are a few cantrips with the divination tag that are Psychic only cantrips, so I am not sure if Buggels could take one of those with the archetype dedication feat. Glimpse Weakness for example is a level 1 cantrip with both the divination and psychic traits.
Good hustle on getting the free archetype from Troy 😉

Long time listener, first time watcher. It's really weird to "see" the intros after only listening to the podcast. The Glass Cannon Network intro looks like an excerpt from a car commercial and and the intro to the gang of players reminds me of the intro to WKRP in Cincinnati. Aside from that, seeing actual play here, looks like a job rather than a bunch of people playing- Which is what I imagine when only listening. I think I'll stick to the podcast. Thanks for the goods times, you guys have great chemistry and fantastic characters.
I don't know if anyone has won Skid's dollar yet, but I'm going to guess Buggles might have been based on Dorothy Spinner and the Candlemaker from Doom Patrol?

Sept is the best. The girl I have been with for 27 years now birthday is the 19th. Usually right around then every year for the past 20 something years we go to the wormtown music festival for 3 days in Deerfield MA. So we usually stay up all night on the equinox. Because the late night cabins at wormtown always have epic music going well past sunrise.

Unpopular opinion: I hate fall. It’s the death of summer. My fav time is summer: beach, fun, no schedule, no school, no schedule, no holidays to have to decorate for, not having to shovel snow or clear off the car.
